The most popualr trekking adventure in Nepal- Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts from Nayapul which is two hours drive from Pokhara. Then we go to the Machhapuchhre Base camp through Ghandruk and Chhomrong. From there we head towards the Annapurna Base Camp and conclude the most frequented trekking trail in Nepal by arriving to Jhinu Danda through Dovan.

The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is a high-altitude glacial basin located north of Pokhara. The Annapurna Base Camp trekking is one of the most popular and the most beautiful trekking routes of the world, which offers you the incredible taste of Trekking in the Himalayas. The magical landscape in and around the Annapurna Base Camp is also called "sanctuary" because of its natural serenity, beauty and the divine presence of the Hindu goddesses Annapurna (8,091m) and Gangapurna (7,455m).

Much of the part you explore during Annapurna Base Camp Trek is protected under Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). The highlight of the trip is not only the rugged beauty of the Himalaya topography but also the rich cultural experience of the Gurung villages and their inhabitants that you meet along the way.

Considered the best Himalayan Terk in Nepal, it is not an entirely difficult trek, some steep uphill climbing and crossing narrow bridges becomes repetitive though. The maximum altitude you will ascend during trek will be 4,130m. From Annapurna Base Camp, you can enjoy a magical ensemble of the magical mountains like Hiunchuli (6,441m), Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Machhapuchhare (6,993m).

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu Airport (1,300m/4,264 Ft)

  Today is your arrival day in Kathmandu! We heartily welcome you to the country of Himalayas. A member of our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After checking in to the hotel and refreshment, you will be brought to our office. We will have a briefing session on the trek commencing the day after tommorrow. Then in the evening we will enjoy the dinner together at Kathmandu's finest cultural restaurant. Dream of the most adventurous trekking holiday in Nepal- Annapurna Base Camp Trek and have a sound sleep.Airports pick up and Kathmandu Hotel with breakfast is included

• Day 2 : Kathmandu 1350m/4429ft to Pokhara 827m/2713ft. -7 Hours By Bus

  After breakfast in Hotel, we will drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a tourist coach. Pokhara is naturally blessed town 200km west of Kathmandu. It is also the starting and the ending point for most of the treks in Annapurna Region. A journey along the serpentine highway to Pokhara is wonderful. On our arrival, at Pokhara after seven hours of drive, we will be transferred to our hotel. In the evening, we can explore around Pokhara and do the last minute shopping for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek starting tomorrow. Stay overnight at hotel at Pokhara.Pokhara Hotel with breakfast is included

• Day 3 : Pokhara 827m/2713ft to Ghandruk Via Nayapul 1070m/3510ft, 1 Hours Drive and 2 Hours Walk

  We drive to Nayapul after the breakfast, which take almost two hours of drive to get there. After getting off at Nayapul, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek instantly kicks off along the trial above Modi Khola. After walking for 30 minutes we get to Birethanti 1030m/3379ft ACAP Check post where two rivers Modi and Bhurungdi confluence. Chasing the steep uphill trial on a stony staircases, we reach to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a beautiful village in the Annapurna Region of Nepal inhabited by Gurungs (an ethnic group of Nepal). You will have a chance to observe typical Gurung culture, their costumes and lifestyles at Ghandruk. You will have superb view of Mt. Annapurna South (7219m), Mount Hiunchuli (6441m) and holy Mountain Macchapuchhare (6993m) from Ghandruk village. Overnight at hotel at Ghandruk.Mountain Accommodation with Full board of meals (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) is included

• Day 4 : Ghandruk to Chhomrong 2210m/7249 Ft, 5 Hours Walk

  After the breakfast, we climb up for an hour to get to the highest point of Ghandruk, Ghandrukkot and then chase a steep descending trail that takes us to the Kimron Khola. Beyond Kimron Khola we once again, dare to climb a steep uphill climb followed by a pleasant hour long walk. To get to today's destination for the overnight stay, Chhomrong the final part of day on Annapurna Base Camp Trek goes through continous uphill climb. However, reaching Chhomrong offers magnificent views of towering Annapurna South, with the Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhare) facing across the valley. Chhomrong is a beautiful village located in the lap of the giant Annapurna -explore around. • Day 5 : Chhomrong to Dovan 2605m/8546ft, 6-7 Hours Walk

  Today the Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins with the climb downhill along the stony staircases to Chhomrong Khola and cross the suspension bridge. Then we climb uphill through the magnificent forest for 2 hours to get to Sinuwa 2324m/7624ft. The trail beyond Sinuwa cross passes lush vegetation of bamboo and the maximum of ninety minute jungle walk will bring us to Kuldhighar 2498m/8195ft. Almost 30 minutes of downhill walk would bring us to Bamboo 2340m/7677ft and the final sixty minutes of uphill trek through beautiful forest would bring us to our today's stopover point Dovan. Explore around the village and Overnight at Dovan.Mountain Accommodation with Full board of meals (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) is included

• Day 6 : Dovan to Mbc 3700m/12139ft, 3 Hours Walk

  After the breakfast, we trek for two and half hours along the bank of the Modi Khola valley through the lush forest to get Himalaya 2880m/9449ft. We will continue Annapurna Base Camp Trek with the uphill climb for next forty minutes to get to Hinku Cave 3139m/10298ft. Further trekking, for next 35 minutes along the even trail would get us to Deurali where we will have our lunch. Post lunch, the trek resumes with the uphill climb. While ascending we begin to feel alpine vicinity as after two hours of trek we arrive to Machhapuchhre Base Camp 3700m.Once we reach at MBC we will have great views of Fishtail and Annapurna I . It is situated in lap of the Fishtail Mountain. Explore around and overnight at MBC.Mountain Accommodation with Full board of meals (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) is included

• Day 7 : Mbc to Abc 4130m/13549ft and Dovan, 5-6 Hours Walk

  Today we achieve the biggest highlight of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. We will have breakfast and start our Climb for almost two and half hours uphill to get to Annapurna Base Camp. You will get an opportunity to view surrounding mountains here. The majestic view of Annapurna I 8091m/26544ft during sunrise seems like huge gold plated mass. You will be surrounded by many other mountains including Annapurna south 7219m/23684ft, Hiuchuli 6441m/21131ft, Fishtail 6993m/22942ft, Singa Chuli 6501m/21328ft, Tent peak 5663m/18579ft, Gangapurna 7455m/24458ft and Annapurna Fang 7647m/25088ft.After spending enough time at Annapurna Base Camp, the trek begins to slide down rapidly. You should take another 4:30 hours to climb downhill to get back to Dovan. Overnight at Dovan.Mountain Accommodation with Full board of meals (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) is included

• Day 8 : Dovan 2605m/8546ft to Jhinu Danda 1725m/5659ft, 3-4 Hours Walk

  After the breakfast, we start our walk to Jhinu Danda. It takes almost 6 hours to climb down to Jhinu danda. First climb down to Bamboo and climb up to Khuldighar then climb down to Chhomrong Khola and again climb up to the Chhomrong village and finally again climb down to Jhinu Danda- a perfect trek ups and downs along the beautiful hills. At Jhinu Danda, there is hot spring. Climb down for 25 minute along the bank of Modi River to the hot springs. Let the exhaustion of Annapurna Base Camp Trek go in the 2 hot spring pools and water taps. Explore and enjoy your time there. Overnight at Jhinu danda.Mountain Accommodation with Full board of meals (breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) is included

• Day 9 : Jhinu Danda to Pokhara 830m via Nayapul 1070m, 6-7 hours walk and 1 hours drive

  After the breakfast, climb downhill to cross Kumnu Khola and continue to hike ups and downs to the New Bridge 1500m/4921ft, which takes almost an hour. Modi Khola Valley with cliff view are enjoyable at New Bridge . Walk almost ninety minutes to get to Kyumi and again from Kyumi walk 1:30 hours to get Syauli Bazar. From Syauli Bazar walk two more hours to get to Nayapul. Our Annapurna Base Camp Trek ofiicially ends here at Nayapul. From Nayapul and we will pick you up and escort you to Pokhara in a private vehicle. Stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara. Pokhara Hotel with breakfast is included

• Day 10 : Pokhara 827m/2713ft to Kathmandu 1350m/4429ft, 7 Hours Drive By Tourist Bus

  Today you will drive on the snaky Prithivi Highway to Kathmandu in a tourist coach. Witnessing the rural landscapes dominated by lush vegetation and rushing rivers is full of fun throughout the drive. The rural culture is also a fascinating reward of the ride. 200 kilometers of ride that takes seven full hours will finally bring you to Kathmandu. On your arrival to Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you are invited to a cultural restaurant for the farewell dinner.Pokhara Hotel with breakfast is included

• Day 11 : Departure Day from Kathmandu

  As per your flight schedule, you will drive with our representative to the airport in a private vehicle. Have a safe flight and visit Nepal time and again.Breakfast and final airport drop is included
