Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:30am. Your English speaking driver guide will brief you about the trip and you will drive about 135Klm to Lake Manyara National Park with a lunch box for a full day game drive and picnic lunch. The park features giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees, grassy flood plains, open plains, a dramatic escarpment, Soda Lake, dense woodlands and distant volcanic peaks. Expect to see animals such as elephants, hippos, impalas, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, blue monkeys and buffaloes and the famous tree climbing lions and leopards. Lake Manyara also provides excellent birdwatching with over 400 species recorded, including pink hued flamingoes, herons, storks and pelicans. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.

Early breakfast at 05:30am then descend approximately 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for about six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch box. The crater supports a wide variety of wildlife where you may spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other wild animals. The Soda Lake within the crater hosts many bird species including flamingos. The crater ecosystem supports large predators such as lions and leopards and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals. Late evening drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Tarangire covers approximately 2,600 square kilometers and during dry seasons hosts very high concentrations of wildlife comparable to larger parks. Expect to see large herds and impressive numbers of species including zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes and fringe eared oryx, and predators such as lions, cheetah and leopards as well as numerous bird species such as green wood hoopoes, fisher lovebirds, white bellied go away birds and giant kingfishers. Late evening drive back to Arusha.
