Australian Camp Trek is an easy or moderate trek around Pokhara. The two major attractions of the trek are the Dhumpus Village and the Australian Camp. The place is renowned for sunrise, sunset, the Annapurna Range, Machhapuchhre, and green hills. The journey starts from a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara: The city of Lake is the touristic center of Nepal. From Pokhara, we take 45 minutes to drive till Phedi and trek our way to Dhampus. A short break at Dhampus and then we trek through Pothana where we lunch and trek to the Australian Camp to rest. The trip takes about seven hours depending upon the pace of the traveler. You will travel through dense forests, along the hillsides, and through mountain villages. After breakfast in the Australian Base Camp, we hike through Naudanda (Nine hills). We stop for lunch and then hike to Sarangkot. This trek offers you spectacular mountain scenery (Mt Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Nilgiri, etc). You can even see the amazing view of the Pokhara valley and lakes. Passing the terraced fields and small houses, we'll climb up through the forest. We can even see the mesmerizing Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m), transfer to hotel, welcome dinner
A representative from Trekking Mart welcomes you at the arrival gate of Kathmandu airport. Then take you to a chosen hotel in downtown Kathmandu. At the evening, we'll offer you a welcome dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant serving our Nepal food.

Drive to Pokhara (823 m): 6-7 hours drive
Morning breakfast in the hotel and drive to Pokhara. The hilly winding road extends for 200 km on passing majestic rivers, landscapes, town. Pokhara: city of Lake is the touristic center of Nepal with perfect amalgamation of nature etc.

Pokhara to trek Australian Base Camp
After breakfast, about 45-minute drive to Phedi. We’ll start our trek to Dhampus through Rhododendron forest.
Passing the terraced fields and small houses, we'll climb up through the forest. We can even see the mesmerizing Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). After having lunch, we will start our trek to Pothana. After reaching Pothana we will take a short rest and start our trek to Australian Camp. Overnight at hotel in Australian Base Camp.

Trek to Sarangkot from Australian Base Camp
Australian Base Camp is a beautiful village best known for its sunrise, sunset, and view of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre and also beautiful green hills.
After having breakfast in Australian Base Camp, we will hike through Naudanda (Nine hills). Stop for lunch and hike to Sarangkot. Sarangkot trek offers you spectacular mountain scenery (Mt Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchre, Nilgiri etc). You can even see the amazing view of the Pokhara valley and the lakes of Pokhara.

Hike from Sarangkot to Pokhara / Half day tour
Early morning hiking through hill villages to the popular viewpoint at Sarangkot. The amazing panoramic view from Sarangkot is an unforgettable experience. After that, we hike back to Pokhara the same day, where you can have free time in the afternoon.

Back to Kathamandu
From Pokhara, we set off at 7 in the morning and drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy the fantastic beauty of hills and rivers. On arrival in Kathmandu, shift to the chosen hotel and have a pleasing rest.

At about 3 hours before your flight time, we transfer you to the airport, your onward destination.
