Georgia's ancient and vibrant capital city spreads out on both banks of the Mtkvari River, and is surrounded on three sides by mountains. The name Tbilisi derives from the Old Georgian word "tbili", meaning warm. Archaeological studies of the region indicate human settlement in the area early as the 4th millennium BC. At about 10:00 am – Firstly, we will drive to the OLD TBILISI and start the walking tour to discover the beauty of ancient capital – walking tour starts at Freedom Square and includes Clock Tower, Bridge of Peace, Rike Park Metekhi Church, Cable Car to the Narikala fortress (ride up by cable car), “Mother of Kartli” and Abanotubani District (Sulfur Baths). Walking on Rustaveli Avenue – main prospect of the city. Shopping at Flea market and Gallery Mall. Drive to Mtatsminda Park. Overnight in Tbilisi
