Best of Ladakh Tour

Following a warm welcome at the Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh, you’ll be transferred to the hotel pre-decided for your stay. Thereafter, rest for the day to get acclimatized to the high altitudes of Ladakh. In the evening, around 4.30 PM, visit Shanti Stupa, Chow kang monastery and local market. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Post breakfast in the morning, proceed on a full day excursion to the Indus Valley monasteries. Visit Stok Palace, Thiksey, Hemis, Stagna & Changchubling monasteries. Thereafter, enjoy a picnic lunch. Stay overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Post breakfast in the morning, around 8:00 AM, hit the road to Nubra Valley (125 kilometer) via the famous Khardung la Pass.Upon arrival, check in at the camp in Nubra. In the afternoon, visit Panamic Hot Springs and Samstanling. Stay overnight in Deluxe Camp.

Today is your day to explore the Nubra Valley. Visit the silver sand dunes near Hunder village and enjoy a safari ride on the back of a double humped Camel and Diskit & Hunder villages. Enjoy picnic lunch during the day. Stay overnight in the camp.

In the morning, excursion to the small Yarab Tso Lake followed by a leisurely breakfast. Later, return back to Leh via Khardung La Pass. In the evening, stroll in the Leh market. Stay overnight in the hotel.

After an early breakfast on day 7, start driving to Leh via Tsokar Lake. On the way, take a halt to visit Puga Geo-Thermal Gas springs, visiting the Nomadic Rebo tents at Polo-kongka pass, and further after the pass, stop by Tsokar Lake - a wetland area. After breakfast, today you start driving to Ulley Resort from Leh. On the way, visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha in the Likir monastery and the 1000 -year old murals of Alchi monastery, listed among the best Buddhist miniature paintings. Continue your road journey. Finally, you arrive Uley. Check-in at the resort/hotel. After completing the formalities, you can simply relax.

Post breakfast, start your excursion to visit Lunar landscapes, Lamayuru Monastery & Rizong Nunnery. You can also enjoy a day hike to Rizong village which takes 2-3 hours or a short Hike to Gera-Lardo village across Indus River. Overnight stay at Uleytokpo.
