Chardham Yatra Itinerary - 2026 Ex Haridwar (10 Days / 9 Nights)

Pickup from Haridwar and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie covering approximately 190 km. Evening arrival at Barkot, rest and prepare for the further yatra. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Early morning drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti then start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri (options Walk / Horse / Doli available at own cost). Perform holy dip in the kund and have darshan and blessings of Maa Yamuna Ji. Return to Barkot hotel by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast depart Barkot for Uttarkashi on a scenic mountain drive of approximately 90 km. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple on arrival or en route, reach the stay, relax and have dinner and overnight stay.

Early breakfast and depart Uttarkashi for Gangotri driving through Harsil Valley. Perform holy dip at the origin of River Ganga, have darshan at Gangotri Temple and visit Surya Kund. Return to Uttarkashi by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Drive from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi or Phata or Sersi covering approximately 220 km. Arrival at hotel by evening with dinner and overnight stay at the chosen hotel.

Early morning breakfast, checkout and drive to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag proceed to Gaurikund by government taxi at own cost (private vehicles not allowed beyond Sonprayag approx 5 km). Begin trek to Kedarnath of approximately 16 km or opt for helicopter at own cost. Reach Kedarnath by evening, check in at basic accommodation due to high altitude, experience divine darshan at Lord Shiva and overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Early morning Kedarnath darshan including Bhairav Mandir darshan, trek down to Sonprayag and then drive back to Guptkashi or Phata or Sersi. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Scenic drive via Chopta with distant darshan of Rudraaprayag and Karanprayag en route. Arrival at Pipalkoti, hotel check in, relaxation time, dinner and overnight stay.

Drive from Pipalkoti to Badrinath via Joshimath. Visit Narsingh Temple in Joshimath and have darshan at Badrinath Temple. Visit Mana Village, the origin of Maa Saraswati River, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Bhim Pul. Return to Pipalkoti for dinner and overnight stay.

Return journey after breakfast from Pipalkoti to Haridwar, approximately 8 to 9 hours drive. En route visit Devprayag sangam for darshan and Dhari Devi darshan. Arrival at Haridwar by evening subject to traffic. Yatra ends.
