Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi - Leh

Leh Palace

Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel. After lunch you will visit Shanti Stupas, Leh Palace & Market. Overnight Leh.

Day 2

Leh – Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive for full day sightseeing to the Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame (museum), Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River) and Spituk Monastery. Back to Hotel by evening. Overnight Leh.

Day 3

Leh - Nubra Valley 120kms / 4-5 Hrs

After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Diskit by Afternoon. Rest of the day, one is free to explore Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Hunder Village. Overnight Hunder.

Day 4

Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake / 4-6 Hrs. (via Shayok)

Pangong Lake

After Breakfast group will visit Disket Monastery and drive to Pangong Lake through the shayok river belts and enjoy some remote village life style and tradition.Overnight stay at Pangong Lake with elevation of 14,500FT with the beauty of lake view.

Day 5

Pangong– Leh

On the way crossing Third Highest Motorable road in the world (Chang La pass) 17300 fts. In routes group will visit monastery tour:

Shey – Situated t on the eastern bank of the river Indus, the small village Shey is just about 15 kms from Leh. The place is popular for the ancient palace and the monastery. The Shey Palace was the residence of the royal family built in the 17th century. Also you can see the ruins of a fortress present above the palace. The Shey Monastery also has a three storey image of Buddha Sakyamuni made of copper gilt.
Thiksey Monastery - Located on top of a hill, the monastery is an excellent example of Ladakhi architecture. This contains several stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and a large pillar depicting Buddha's teachings
Hemis Monastery - Built in 1630, this is the biggest and most famous monastery in Ladakh. It is at a distance of 49 kms from Leh and 30 kms from Thiksey.

Day 6

Leh Airport Drop

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
