It is an easy circular trek starting from Darjeeling and ending at Darjeeling. Before starting the trek you must rise before drawn and watch sunrise on the fist and third highest peak of the world, from Tiger Hill. As the sun swings round the tips of Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga the colours change from yellow to orange or pink. This is one of the world's great experiences. Start trekking through Delhi-Haridwar-Josimath-Lata(Trek starts)-Dharansi-Deodi-Ramni-Bhoj Ghera-Tilchuni-Nabada Devi Base-Tilchuni-Bhog Ghera-Deodi-Lata (trek ends)-Joshimath-Rishikesh-Delhi. Situated in the eastern province of Garhwal and Kumaon, Nanda Devi "the goddess of joy" in the Hindu mythology, is the highest (at 7818m) and most sacred of all the peaks in the Indian Himalayan. Until very recently the peaks and the valleys of the adjacent Nanda Devi and Panch Chuli massifs were off-limits to the foreign travellers. However, with the opening up of the Gauri Ganga valley, we have been able to put together a fascinating itinerary in the Mountain stronghold.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Fly To Bhadrapur - Drive - Arrival - Darjeeling

Arrival Airport and drive to Darjeeling ( 2134m). Overnight hotel. Good 03 star Hotel with Name.
Day 2

Darjeeling

In the morning, sunrise view from Tiger's Hill and in the afternoon, sightseeing of Ghoom Moanstery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Tibetan Self Help Center . Overnight hotel. Good 03 star Hotel

Day 3

Darjeeling To Tonglu.

Drive one and half hour to Manebhnajyang and further vertical climb brings you to Tonglu (2800m). Excellent view of Kanchenjunga.Overnight at trekker's lodge.

Day 4

Tonglu To Sandakphu.

Many ascents and descents characterize the trek to Sandakphu (3750m).Sandakphu perhaps offers the best simultaneous view of the Everest and the Kanchenjunga ranges. Distance 16 km, 7 hours walking. Overnight trekkers huts.

Day 5

Sandakphu To Phalut.

The trek to Phalut is comparatively easy going as one does not encounter many ascents and the trek is more or less flat on the walking along the Singelila ridge. Phalut is near the Tri-junction of Sikkim , Nepal and West Bengal Overnight at trekkers lodge. "B,L,D

Day 6

Phalut To Rammam.

The trail plunges steeply into the Rammam valley till the village of Gorkhey after which it more or less flat land. Overnight in Trekkers Hut. Distance 14 km and 5 hours walking.

Day 7

Rammam To Rimbick.

The last day of your trek to Rimbick is more or less flat with some descents and meanders past meadows and small villages. Rimbick is a small village with little market. Tonight you will stay at a family home converted to lodge.

Day 8

Rimbick To Darjeeling . Drive 3-4 Hours To Darjeeling.

Rumtek Monastery
