Get away and spend the day by the irresistible shores of the Black Sea. This tour brings you to the coastal city of Constanta, where you can explore age-old beauty in the Old Town before heading to the exquisite Mamaia Resort. Relax on the beach and soak up some rays to complete your experience. Get picked up from your hotel in Bucharest and make the drive out toward the coast, enjoying scenic views along the way. You're dropped off in Constanta, which is Romania's oldest continuously inhabited city with a history dating back to Roman times. Take time to walk through the Old Town, seeing the ruins of the once-elegant Constant Casino, where nobility used to gather to gamble and socialize. Also visit the 19th-century Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, and the historic monument of the Grand Mosque. After exploring Constanta, catch a cable car ride up to the popular Mamaia Resort. Enjoy the rest of your day here as you please, either spending time soaking up the sun on the beach or relishing the cool waters of the Black Sea. At the end of your day, return to Bucharest with a convenient transfer.
