The Drukpath trek connects Paro and Thimphu following a traditional high route crossing a chain of mountains that separates the two valleys. Although the route Is sparsely Inhabited, There are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area Is popular for its spectacular landscapes, beautiful rhododendron forests that bloom from mid March till mid August.
