Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

  Shortly after leaving Nairobi you come to the edge of The Great Rift Valley. A spectacular view opens up with the land dropping dramatically from conifer forests to dry and dusty plains way below. Distinctive shapes of extinct volcanoes rise from the floor of the Rift Valley and in the distance is the glint of lake water. You drive into the Rift valley to Lake Nakuru National Park where lunch is served at your lodge. The park is best known for its flocks of pink flamingoes, sometimes numbering over a million. The park is rich in other bird life and home to many other animals including a proliferation of waterbuck and warthogs. The park is also a rhino sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

• Day 2 : Masai Mara

  After breakfast, drive to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley and Narok. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or luxury tented camp. In the afternoon you have a game drive in this spectacular reserve which is known for good game viewing and sustains all of the „ Big Five‟ including the largest population of lion in Kenya. The enormous landscape of the Mara and its concentration of many varieties of game make it a fitting climax to your safari.

• Day 3 : Masai Mara

  Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you the chance to enjoy the interaction of wild animals in the magnificent park like settings of the Maasai Mara. As well as searching for the Big Five, you will see herds of plains game and spot many marvellous birds. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

• Day 4 : Departure

  Enjoy breakfast before driving back via the Great Rift Valley to arrive in Nairobi at approximately 1300hrs
