Sikkim is also home to glaciers, alpine meadows and thousands of varieties of wildflowers. The Silk Route is an ancient trade network that connected Asia with the Mediterranean Sea. Apart from trade, it was also used to exchange ideas among different civilizations. Silk Route in East Sikkim went from Lhasa to Tamluk in West Bengal crossing the Chumbi Valley and the Nathula Pass. Located in the northeastern region of India, Silk Route Sikkim is known for its scenic beauty, snow-covered mountains and lush green forests. The majority of the population in Sikkim comprises of Nepalese, Bhutias and Lepchas. It was an independent Kingdom until it merged with India in 1975. The places are arround Silk route - Ichegaon / Sillerygaon, Aritar, Padamchen, Zuluk, Agamlok, Gnathang, Nathang Valley, Reshikhola, Rolep, Rongpokhola and many other places. Day 1

SILIGURI/BAGDOGRA/NJP - ARITAR

Lampokhari Lake Aritar Gumpa Monastery

(Enroute Aritar sightseeing – vishwavinayak mandir, lampokhari lake, Mankhim View point, Buddha statue, Aritar monastery, Aritar Monastery, lampokhari Lake (boating optional)
Overnight stay.

Activities : Adventure , Boating , Paddle Boats

Accommodation : Karma Homestay [ 2 Star ]
Day 2

ARITAR - ZULUK

After breakfast check out from Aritar. Sightseeing at vishwavinayak mandir, lampokhari lake (boating optional), Mankhim View point, Buddha statue, Aritar monastery, Aritar Monastery. Later transfer to Zuluk. Vist Rongli Bazar, Kuekhola falls. Check in to Zuluk. Overnight stay at Zuluk.

Day 3

ZULUK - NATHANG

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Thambi View Point, Lungthung Sunrise Point, Gnathang Valley, Old Baba Mandir, Tukla Valley, Kupup Lake. Later transfer to Nathang Homestay. Check in and overnight stay.

All Hotels was excellent. Agency coordination was also good. My complaint on the driver only, name Rajesh Sikhawat was not good person, his talking way was not well always doing unnecessary arguments. Mr Santanu from SUNBIRD always trying to control his way but he didn't listen to anyone. Otherwise SUNBIRD services was good.
