Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival At Leh

On arrival at Leh, our local representative will welcome you. Check-in to a Ladakhi style hotel, take rest and get acclimatized to the arid high altitude of Leh (3505m). In the evening, enjoy the sunset point (Shanti stupa & Leh market), followed by dinner and overnight stay at your OYO hotel.
Day 2

Explore Indus Valley and Monasteries

Have breakfast and proceed for the Indus Valley Monastery, starting with Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, followed by Thiksey Monastery, an impressive complex, rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village. Visit Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh and also, the School of Rancho featured in the movie 3 Idiots. Then, head to the Sindhu Ghat, the bank of the Holy Indus River. Drive back to Leh and enjoy the evening, exploring the city on your own. Have dinner & stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Excursion to Khardung La Top

After breakfast, drive towards Khardung La (the highest motorable road in the world) at 5,602mts, around 39 kms from Leh. From the pass, enjoy amazing views of the Indus valley and Zanskar range towards the south and the Saser massif mountain to the north. Then, get back to the hotel for lunch and stroll around the market (on your own) for souvenir shopping. Have dinner and stay overnight at your OYO hotel.

Day 4

Departure from Leh

Post breakfast and check-out, you will be transferred to the airport for your journey onwards.

Time Cancellation amount

15 days or more prior to departure 25% of the package OR min pre-payment, whichever is higher

Within 15 days to departure 100% of the package cost

Hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking.

In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.

Room heaters if required, can be provided on chargeable basis, subject to availability.

Hot water will be provided for 2 hours only, during morning and evening in Leh. In camps, hot water is available only for a limited time in the morning.

Only vegetarian meals are served at Nubra and Pangong.

Connectivity (phone as well as internet) is poor and unreliable in Ladakh. Most hotels will not have a WiFi connection.

Transportation shall be provided as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.

It is mandatory for all guests to carry valid photo IDs (Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card). PAN Card is not accepted at many places as a valid photo ID.

OYO reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point due to reasons including, but not limited to: force majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights cancellation/rerouting of flights, closure of/entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

People from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Myanmar and Bhutan cannot travel to restricted areas outside Leh such as Nubra Valley, Pangong, and Tsomoriri, etc.

Nationals of countries other than these can travel to Ladakh, provided they don’t have a diplomatic passport.

All the given rates are quoted per person on Twin/Double sharing basis.

Maximum three adults are allowed in one room.

The third occupant of the room, shall be provided a mattress/rollaway bed.
