If you want to join in one of the most popular things to do along the Mediterranean Coastline then jump on board a week long Turkish Gulet Cruise departing Fethiye. You spend 7 days and 6 nights taking in some amazing sights whilst getting to visit pristine bays for swimming and snorkelling.

You depart Fethiye bound for Butterfly Valley, here its time for your first swim in the Med or you can hike into the valley. Afterwards you cruise past Europe’s most photographed beach, Oludeniz then anchor behind the Blue Lagoon. First night on board is at St Nicholas Island, where you can enjoy the sunset through the ruins. Day 2 you cruise to Kas, it’s the best spot for shopping or stocking up on snacks. Your next few days are spent in Kekova. There is plenty to see with the famous Sunken City of Kekova and Simena Castle. Day 4, in Demre Harbour you farewell some passengers that are on the shorter cruise and can go into Demre to visit the ruins of Myra. You then jump back on board and welcome new passengers to start the cruise back to Fethiye. This cruise, you see the same major attractions twice, which are always worth it, but get to see new things with different bays for swimming and sleeping in, on the way there and back. You can also undertake the optional activities of paragliding or diving.

You’re on board a Turkish standard yacht. These gulets offer your own cabin (twin or double share) and solo travellers share with other solo travellers. All cabins have a private bathroom, so no need to worry about having to share. On board you will enjoy an array of yummy Turkish dishes. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Today the meeting point will be the Alaturka office at 10:00am. Those staying in centrally located hotels in Fethiye will be collected from their accommodation and transferred to the office. Following check in at the office, guests will be taken to the harbour for a briefing. We will depart Fethiye around 11:00am to 11:45am and cruise to our first stop, Butterfly Valley. Time to put on your swimsuit and have a dip. We will also have lunch here and there is the option to do a hike up to the waterfall. Guests may get to witness the variety of moths and butterflies while on the walk depending on the time of season.
  
  We travel to Oludeniz, the most photographed beach in Europe. Here you have the option to go paragliding. You will take off from Babadag Mountain, 2000 metres and fly over Oludeniz beach and Blue Lagoon. It is easy to know why the paragliding here is the best in the world! We suggest looking into pre booking this activity either online for special online rates, with our friendly office crew or last minute on the boat. Just let your captain know on departing Fethiye. Tonight the gulet will anchor down at St. Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk up through the island's ruins and sit and enjoy the magical sunset.

• Day 2 :

  Today in the early hours the crew will steer the gulet along the Patara stretch headed for Aquarium Bay. Breakfast will be served and then there is time for swimming before heading into Kas. This small fishing village has some of the best shopping in the region. Spend time exploring the shops famous for their unique jewellery or head to the west of town to enter the ancient theatre. In Kas, guests will have the option to scuba dive. Both certified and beginner divers can join this activity. We also suggest looking into pre booking this activity for online discounts. Alternativley this can be booked with your captain. The night is spent in one of the secluded bays between Kas and Kekova.

• Day 3 :

  The Sunken City is the first stop for today's itinerary. This ancient city dates back 2000 years to the Lycian period and was destroyed in the 2nd century by an earthquake. We will cruise alongside the ruins, however no swimming or snorkelling is allowed here as it is a world heritage site.
  
  Afterwards you will anchor down to visit Kekova and Simena Castle, where you can walk to the top and witness a magical view over the bay. For the night we anchor down in Gokkaya Bay and there is a chance tonight to go party at the nearby bar, Smuggler’s Inn. Meet up with other travellers from other boats, for a night of dancing under the stars. A free boat service will pick you up and runs all through the night. If you don't want to party, simply relax and chill out on the gulet.

• Day 4 :

  Day 4 is an easy start. Have a morning swim and enjoy another delicious breakfast spread. After breakfast, the gulet will cruise towards Demre passing Pirates cave on the way. We will moor in Cayagzi (Andriake) Harbour before lunch time. It is time to farewell fellow passengers that are just doing the four day cruise. Guests remaining on the tour will be offered the chance to be transferred to Demre town where you can wander around the shops, use cash facilities and even explore the ruins of Myra. Guests will be transferred back to the gulet around 12pm with the new passengers boarding the cruise today. Lunch will be served on arriving back at the gulet.
  
  In the afternoon, we will cruise back towards the Sunken City and cruise back over the World Hertiage site. We then anchor down close to Kekova, where guests can venture up to Simena Castle again or head to east of the town to view the sarcophagus which stands majestically in the water.
  
  Later in the day we anchor back down in Gokkaya Bay. This is a turtle breeding ground so be sure to watch out for these majestic creatures while swimming. Tonight you join other travellers at Smugglers Inn or For the nirelax on the gulet.

• Day 5 :

  Today you cruise back onto Kas, for some more shopping or you may like to just sit down in one of the local cafes for great coffee and watch the world go by. If you are interested in the optional extra of diving, you will get the chance to do it again here. Be sure to look at booking this optional extra online before your cruise to receive an online discount. After your time in Kas you will cruise onto an area not far from Kalkan and anchor down in one of the beautiful bays that are found in that area.

• Day 6 :

  This morning wake up to vivid blue ocean and find yourself in Butterfly Valley. Take time out for a swim or go for another optional hike up to the waterfall. Afterwards, you will visit the most photographed beach in the world - Oludinez. Here you have the optional excursion of going paragliding. Maybe you missed out on the way down to Kekova, or maybe you loved it again and want the chance to fly over this amazing scenery again. Please look into pre booking this activity either online for special online rates; with our friendly office crew or last minute let your captain know on departing Fethiye. Tonight you will anchor down at St. Nicholas Island, where you will have time to walk back up through the island's ruins or you may just want to head straight up to sunset point to enjoy the view.

• Day 7 :

  Your last day on the boat will be a nice and lazy start. You will wake up at St Nicholas Island where you can enjoy a morning swim and breakfast before cruising around to one of the bays near Fethiye for lunch and a final swim. You will then cruise into Fethiye Harbour anytime between 12:30 - 1:30pm after lunch for disembarking the boat. It is time to farewell new found friends and your friendly crew. Please note: transfer services onto Fethiye Hotels is not included.
