0900 hrs Morning tour of New Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar, a tower of victory built in the 12th century and India Gate, the war memorial. Drive past the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, the residence of the President of India, the houses of Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings. Afternoon tour of Old Delhi where you can pay respect at the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the Raj Ghat, see the imposing Red Fort built by the creator of the Taj Mahal, visit lndia’s largest mosque, the Jama Masjid, with its black and white onion domes, minarets and white marble. Depart from hotel to domestic airport to board your flight to Lucknow. On arrival transfer to Vivanta by Taj hotel. Afternoon visit the Mahabodhi Temple. Guest can also make their way to the Temple by taking the rickshaw or just simply walk down. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay.

0630 hrs Leave Bodhgaya for Patna enroute visiting Rajgir & Nalanda. Rajgir is a site of great sanctity and significance for Buddhists, visit Shanti Stupa, Gridhakuta Hill and later visit Venu Van. Next drive to Nalanda which is 14 kms away and was one of the oldest University of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies.1330 hrs Drive to Patna, ( 90 kms - approx 3 hrs). Packed lunch from hotel. On arrival at Patna dinner at Chanakaya hotel (4* hotel). Overnight stay.
