Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Haridwar → Barkot (Drive: 180 km / 7–8 hrs)

  Early morning pickup from Haridwar
  Drive through Dehradun, Mussoorie, Kempty Falls
  Reach Barkot by evening, gateway to Yamunotri
  Check-in at hotel / camp and rest
  Overnight Stay: Barkot

  • Themes Sightseeing
• Day 2 : Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot (Drive: 36 km + 6 km trek one way)

  Early morning drive to Janki Chatti (36 km)
  Begin 6 km trek (one way) to Yamunotri Temple
  Options: Trek / pony / palki (available on hire)
  Take darshan at Yamunotri (Source of Yamuna River)
  Dip in Surya Kund (hot water spring)
  Return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot
  Overnight Stay: Barkot

  • Themes Trekking, Sightseeing
• Day 3 : Barkot → Uttarkashi (Drive: 100 km / 4–5 hrs)

  After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi
  En route visit:
  Prakateshwar Mahadev Cave (optional)
  In Uttarkashi:
  Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple
  Explore local market
  Overnight Stay: Uttarkashi

• Day 4 : Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi (Drive: 100 km one way / 3–4 hrs)

  Early morning drive to Gangotri Dham
  Scenic journey along the Bhagirathi river
  Stops at Harsil, Bhairav Ghati
  Take darshan at Gangotri Temple (Origin of the Ganga)
  Dip in Bhagirathi River near the temple
  Return drive to Uttarkashi in the evening
  Overnight Stay: Uttarkashi

  • Themes Sightseeing
• Day 5 : Uttarkashi → Haridwar (Drive: 200 km / 8–9 hrs)

  After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar
  En route optional halt at Tehri Dam viewpoint
  Arrive in Haridwar by evening

  Drop at Haridwar railway station / bus stand
