Day 1

Bagdogra/NJP - Darjeeling 93 kms 3 hours approx.

Assistance at the airport/station on arrival and drive to Darjeeling.
DARJEELING:
Standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, After Darjeeling, or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Often referred to as the Queen of the Hills, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by World Famous Tea Gardens and snow capped mountains, Darjeeling remains one of the most exotic destinations. Graeme Westlake in his book An introduction to hill stations on India refers to Darjeeling as having view Scarcely Unrivalled on Earth.

Day 2

Darjeeling

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill.
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Tea Estate(from outside).

Day 3

Darjeeling - Gangtok 98 kms 4 hours approx.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok

GANGTOK:
At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight.

Day 4

Gangtok

Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lakes waters.
Also visit Baba Mandir Overnight at hotel.

Day 5

Gangtok - Bagdogra/NJP 125 kms 4 hours approx.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra/NJP in time for flight/train to onward destination.

We are not holding any rooms or airline seats as of now and above mentioned is quote only , subject to availability at the time of confirmation .
First preference will be given to mentioned hotels for reservation. In case of non-availability of these hotels we shall advise the similar or next available option with supplement cost .
Itinerary provided is just suggestive and the sightseeing will be done as per availability.
In case of no show or late cancellation after reconfirmation charges applicable as per the Hotels Policy and other vendors policy.

Air tickets and hotels are subject to availability.
It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in.
The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport, Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, It will be switched off in the hills.
Non A/c Rooms will be provided in hill stations
The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed as per hotel policy.
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. The standard check-in time is 1300hrs and the standard check-out time is 1000hrs, it differs in 5 star hotels Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not inclusive in the package cost.
The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Via.com will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
In case of non-availability of above mentioned hotels similar category hotel will be provided.

Please note Cancellation / Amendment request needs to reach us in writing. Any amendment received after booking will be treated as cancellation. The Cancellation policy is as follows:

Up to 30 days prior to date of departure -Initial deposit amount 25% of the tour cost (Non Refundable) per person
Between 22 days to 29 days prior to departure - 50% of tour cost ( We need 50% payment as well) "4-Between 16 days to 21 days prior to departure - 75% of tour cost
Less than 15 days prior to departure - 100% of tour cost
This policy may vary during Apr, May and Jun months, Diwali / Dussehra and New Year period and Long Weekends will go up to 100% cancellation - After confirmation.
