Gangtok Pelling Darjeeling Tour Package

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), meet and greet by our representative. Later get transferred to Gangtok (130 kilometers 4 ½ – 5 hours). Gangtok, a perfect destination for tourist in search of charm, tranquillity, trekking or any other adventure. The Land of monastery, mystic rituals / festivals at an elevation of 1,437 meters / 4,715 feet is the most often visited spot of India for its rare Orchids and Butterflies. On arrival check in to the Hotel and get relaxed. Evening free to stroll to M.G. Marg or Local Market. It is advisable to have food in any of the restaurant in M G Road or vicinity. Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.

Option 1: After early morning breakfast, proceed to excursion of Changu/Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (Permits are made one day prior to visit. Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region and temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside. Till April the area is covered with full snow. Evening get back to the hotel and time is free for leisure purpose. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Note: Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged one day before where Voters ID card need to be submitted. Nathu La Pass once booked the amount is not refunded even if the trip get cancelled. Nathula Pass supplement charges of INR 4500 – INR 5000 /- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing)

Option 2: Morning after breakfast, start for the local visit of Gangtok. Visit to Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Flower Show, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls – one of the finest falls close to Gangtok, etc. Return back to hotel for the Overnight stay.

Note: It is not possible to cover all the sightseeing which is mentioned. The places will covered according to the time factor, road conditions and distance.

Morning after breakfast check out of the hotel to proceed to Pelling – A drive of nearly 130 kilometers – 3 ½ – 4 hours drive – Pelling is situated at an altitude of 2072 meters / 6800 feet – On a clear day guest can get a clear view of Himalayan range with snow-capped mount Pandim, Kumbhakarna, Rathong, Khangchendzonga, Zopuno, Shimbho, Narsing, Sinolchu etc – It is one of the exotic settlement with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids, historical sites, short trek routes and wildlife – Its botanical and zoological richness is inspiring and the scenic view from the top of the ridge across deep valley to the heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be seen to be believed – Yuksom, Ravangla, Rinchenpong and Namchi are some of the tourist spot nearby – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around the small settlement – Over Night stay at Pelling.

After breakfast start for half day sightseeing visit Kanchenjunga waterfalls, Rimbi waterfalls & Khecheopalri Lake. Afternoon transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.), Enjoy scenic beauty of Rangeet River Valley on the way. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Early morning at 4:00 AM, drive to Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial for the beautiful view in the morning. Get back to hotel for breakfast and proceed to next destinations like Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, Tea garden. Post lunch visit Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi (all these places will be covered according the time factor & road conditions). Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Note: It is not possible to visit all the places but the important ones were covered for the satisfaction of guest and as per guest wish

Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Siliguri. En route visit Kurseong (optional, if need to explore the best tea estates and processing unit at own cost). On arrival get dropped at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).

Note: Guests are advised to start early morning to avoid tensions and last moment rushes.
