Srinagar is the summer capital of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in the Kashmir Valley and lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus. The City is famous for its gardens , Lakes and houseboats. It is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dry fruits.
Srinagar has a humid subtropical climate with a climate much cooler than what is found in much of the rest of India, due to its moderately high elevation and northerly position.
Srinagar is one of the places that has been called the "Venice of the East" or the " Kashmiri Venice" it is known for its lakes, which include Dal Lake - noted for its houseboats - and Nagin Lake.
Srinagar has some Mughal Gardens, forming a part of those laid by Mughal emperors across the Indian Subcontinent. Those of Srinagar and its close vicinity include Chashma Shahi (the royal fountains); Pari Mahal (the palace of the fairies); Nishat Bagh (the garden of spring); Shalimar Bagh; and the Naseem Bagh.
There are many religious holy places in Srinagar. They include:
1.Hazratbal Shrine
2.Jama Masjid, Srinagar, one of the oldest mosques in Kashmir
3.Hamza Makhdum on "Hari Parbhat"
4.Kheer Bhawani in Ganderbal
5.Hari parbathill hosts shrine of Sarika Mata Temple

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Airport - Srinagar

Dal Lake

On arrival at Srinagar, You will be met by our representative and transfer you to Houseboat. In the evening Shikara ride to Dal Lake to enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 2 Srinagar - Local Sightseeing

After early breakfast leave for the Sightseeing of famous Mughal Gardens Like Nishat, Shalimar, Cheshmashahi, Parimahal. Evening return back to Srinagar. Over Night at Hotel.

Day 3 Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar 96 Kms

Full day trip to Gulmarg which is at a distance of 48 kms. Gulmarg is famous for Gondola Ride which is 14000ft above sea level. Chair lifts are now open from Kongdori to Marry Shoulder. Evening Return back to Srinagar overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar 186 Kms

Full day excursion to Pahalgam ( Vale of Kashmir) which is famous for film industry. On the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and other places of sightseeing. Enjoy the sightseeing of Auro, chandanwari & Betab valley. In the evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 5 Srinagar Airport Drop

After early Breakfast leave for Airport for inwards journey. Due to multiple security reasons at Srinagar Airport you should reach 02 hrs prior to departure.
