Day 1 Arrival At Chandigarh - Transfer To Shimla

Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport, we drive to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. This beautiful hill resort was the erstwhile summer capital of the British. It is one of the top tourist destinations in India owing to its mild climate, meandering streets and snow-clad mountains. Often referred to as the 'Queen of Hill Stations’, Shimla is perched at a height of around 2000 meters above sea level. Besides its natural beauty, what attracts hordes of tourists to this place is the opportunity to indulge in various adventure activities, such as trekking, mountaineering, and skiing. Day 6 Transfer From Manali To Dharamshala - Half Day Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out and hit the road to Dharamshala. Dalai Lama’s home and winter capital of Himachal Pradesh in the Kangra district, Dharamshala is exactly what it means - ‘rest house for pilgrims’. The high snowclad Dhauladhar ranges are an exquisite backdrop to the hill resort of Dharamsala. Day 7 Transfer From Dharamshala To Dalhousie

The Ridge

Check out from your hotel after breakfast. Later, hit the road to Dalhousie - a famous hill station and unique summer retreat in Himachal. Watch for curious painted rock carvings of Buddhist deities along the south side of the ridge. The ravishing rhododendrons, gorgeous greens and pristine air add to the beauty of Dalhousie. Quite a few Tibetan refugees have found and made their homes in Dalhousie as well. You can also choose to visit the British-era churches of St John (1863) and St Francis (1894) or wander around the market areas of Subhash Chowk and Gandhi Chowk. Day 8 Day Excursion To Khajjiar And Chamba

After breakfast, get ready to head to Khajjiar (approx. 30 kms from Dalhousie) - India's Switzerland. This unmistakably scenic saucer shaped plateau is surrounded by dense pine and thick forests of deodar along the fringes of the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1085 m). Horse riding and zorbing are two very fun things to do here. When you are out sightseeing, take the time to step in to a temple dedicated to Khajji Nag. Behold snake idols here, as it is a 12th century AD temple dedicated to Naga, the lord of serpents. Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five Pandava brothers. Day 9 Departure From Dalhousie To Chandigarh

After breakfast we checkout from hotel and proceed for Chandigarh by road (around 8 hour journey). On arrival you will be transferred to the airport/railway station to board the flight/Train back to home.

Important Information & Guidelines

General
All the Tibetan Monasteries are closed in Himachal till further notice.
In case of road blocks, the vehicle may need to take an alternate route to get you to your destination. This will be subject to additional charges as applicable and payable directly on ground.
Hotel
Hotels may not have free heater services available. Heaters may be arranged from the hotel at additional charges on direct payment basis, varying from Rs 400 - Rs 1000, as per hotel charges and availability. We request you to kindly check the same with the hotel at the time of check-in to avoid inconvenience during stay.
Most of the 2 star and 3 star hotels in Himachal provide only Mattresses not Extra bed.
Hotels in Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala and Dalhousie do not provide heater free of cost. If you require a heater in the room, that will be payable extra directly at the hotel.
Tours and Transfers
Vehicle as mentioned in the booking will be provided. Extra charges will be applicable if additional vehicle or upgraded vehicle is required due to travellers carrying extra or oversized luggage.
Vehicle is available for use only till 8 pm ( as per itinerary); for North East India, Vehicle is available only till 4 pm (as per itinerary). Vehicle being kept till late hours will be subject to night charges as applicable and payable directly on ground.
If you intend to visit Rohtang Pass please note, the tourist vehicles are only allowed till Gulaba Checkpost. Post Check post local union taxi are to be hired to go till Rohtang Pass.
Rohtang Pass is closed for visit on Tuesdays as BRO (Border Road Organization) carries out maintenance of the Rohtang road.
In order to visit Rohtang Pass you need to obtain a permit. There are limited permits available every day (750 for local HP registered vehicles and only 250 for tourist vehicles).
Driving in hilly areas which are different from normal driving, speed limit would be 30 kms per hour.
Vehicles in Hill Areas – Even if you opt for AC vehicle, in hill stations AC is non-operational to avoid damage or mid-trip break down of the vehicle for your own convenience. Also, in several hill areas, commercial vehicles are not allowed to play music to prevent accidents Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. will have to be borne by the guest. We will help in making best possible alternate arrangements. We will not be liable for any refund claims arising from this.
In case you are booking an AC Cab, while driving in hilly areas, AC is will be kept switched off.
Terms and Conditions
Airline seats and hotel rooms are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Seat selection and room allocation (including room number, floor, view, and proximity of rooms) are determined by the airline/hotel and cannot be guaranteed.In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar standard.
The price does not include any personal or incidental expenses, including laundry, room service, minibar charges, beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), tips, portage, and similar services.
If your stay falls on special dates (like 24th December, 31st December, 14th February, etc.) when hotel organize gala dinner, then there may be mandatory Gala Dinner Charges additional that you need to pay at the hotel directly. Country guidelines may change without notice, hence do check travel rules and your eligibility for travel on the regulatory website of the respective country/state, before booking your travel.

We act solely as holiday organizers. We inspect and select the services to be provided to you. However, we do not own, operate or control any airline, shipping company, coach or coach company, hotel, transport, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility or provider etc. that is engaged to provide you services during the course of your tour. Therefore, please carefully note that:
You are required to follow the terms, conditions, and rules of each service provider. This includes, for example, airline baggage policies and hotel meal timings. Any consequences arising from non-compliance will be at your own risk.
If you cause any injury or damage to a service provider, you may be held liable, and any amounts recovered from us in this regard will be charged to you accordingly. Accordingly, we shall not be liable for any delay, deficiency, injury, death, loss or damage etc. occasioned due to act or default of such service providers, their employees or agents.
We reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any point, due to reasons including but not limited to: Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels / flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights, closure of / entry restrictions at a place of visit, etc. While we will do our best to make suitable alternate arrangements, we would not be held liable for any refunds/compensation claims arising out of this.

Amendment Of Booking By Guest

If you wish to amend or change your booking, you must submit your request in writing to your travel advisor or email us All such requests will be accepted subject to availability. Please note that any amendment or change will be treated as a new booking. If the amendment is made within the cancellation period, cancellation charges will apply as per the date the amendment request is submitted. Applicable cancellation charges will be in accordance with airline and hotel policies.

Visa And Immigration Details

All foreign nationals, including children, require a visa and passport before visiting Himachal Pradesh. For visiting Himachal Pradesh, please consult the concerned embassies in your area. For clarifications, please contact the Indian High Commission. All foreign tourists has to carry their travel documents such as valid passports and visas. Indian visa can be availed from Indian Consulates from all over the world. These visas are provided for the duration of 6 months to 5 years as per your requirement. For any immigration problem, please take help of Assistant Commissioner of Police at the Airport Immigration Office.
Passport must have a validity of six months. Carry all the travel documents.
A proper VISA to enter and stay in India is a must. Foreigners who wish to overstay should contact the nearest Foreigners' Regional Registration Officer or the Sadar Police Station in the town.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

Hotel and Land Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refunds: Hotel cancellations are subject to the respective hotel’s policy. Non-refundable bookings are not eligible for any refund. No refund shall be provided for unused nights (including early check-out) or any unutilized services (meals, transfers, sightseeing, entrance fees, etc.) for any reason whatsoever. In case of medical conditions, any exception will be subject to the hotel’s discretion.
Transfers, Activities & Tickets: Transfers and activities included in the itinerary are non-refundable if cancelled within 3 days of the travel start date, unless otherwise specified at the quotation stage in the “Points to Note” section, where applicable. Certain services may have separate cancellation policies, which must be adhered to accordingly. Entrance tickets are non-refundable once booked, unless specified otherwise.
Service Charges: A service charge of 5% of the total booking value will be applicable for cancellations of land services (including activities and transfers), as well as for any amendments. Hotel Policies & Timings: Check-in and check-out timings are as per hotel policies. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges payable directly at the hotel.
