Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Bhubaneswar

On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station transfer to hotel. Later if time permit half day sightseeing of tribal museum (closed on Monday ), Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves - oldest rock cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Orissa. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 2

Bhubaneswar

Rajarani Temple Nandankanan

After Morning breakfast visit to famous city temples including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar-know as the 'Gem of Orissan Architecture' & Rajarani Temple. After Lunch break visit to Nandankanan Zoo ( closed on Monday). This Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari and Botanical Garden. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 3

Bhubaneswar - Puri

Pipli Dhauli Applique Work Jagannath Temple

Morning drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli (Budhist Stupa/ Peace Pagoda) Pipli ( the applique work village) & Raghurajpur (the Artisan village, the most famous attraction here are the Pattachitra (miniature paintings), palm leaf engravings, stone carvings, wooden toys, tusser paintings etc. Proceed to Puri and check in to the hotel. Evening visit of Lord Jagannath Temple (Non Hindus are not allowed)/Relax on the golden beach of puri. Overnight at Puri.

Day 4

Satpada

Morning drive to Chilika lake at Satpada (largest brackish water lake ). Take the boat cruise to visit the Irrawaddy Dolphins & Rajhans Island. Return back to Puri. Rest time relax on the golden beach. Overnight at Puri.

Day 5

Bhubaneswar

Morning drive to Konark to visit the Sun Temple ( one of the world famous heritage site & famously known as Black Pagoda ). Enroute visit to Ramchandi temple & Chandrabhaga beach -one of the finest beaches with a long stretch of clean sands & the beach has its own lovely serenity. Evening return to Bhubaneswar for last minute shopping in Ekamra haat. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Bhubaneswar

Drive back to Bhubaneswar and transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onwards journey.
