Meet & greet at the airport by our representative and transfer you to hotel. Delhi is the Capital of India. Delhi is not a city but it is the book - A book which narrates the history of India. The city was built and destroyed seven times and has been witness to the various events which has brought India through history books. Seven times this city went through the pain of built and rebuilt . Today as the capital of India Delhi is the seat of administrator and the monuments which tell the saga of bygone era stand there. These icons are testimony to the grandeur of past and also an attraction for the tourists. After check in proceed for the sightseeing of Old and New Delhi . Enjoy Rickshaw Ride while visit to Jama Mosque, drive past visit to Red Fort (Remains closed on every Monday), built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan. Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948.Later, you will be taken to New Delhi which includes Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President's House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy's House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India.
Morning after breakfast, drive to Agra. Agra situated on the banks of river Yamuna. It achieved prominence as the capital of the Mughals Emperors between 1526 to 1628, remains major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era monuments, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri, all three are UNESCO World Heritage sites. On Arrival at Agra , check in at hotel . Sight seeing of Agra visit to Taj Mahal (Remains closed on every Friday) is the one of the Seven Wonders of the World surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Then visit to Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. Emperor Sahahjahan, prisoner of his son Aurangzeb in his old age was put in a cell from where he could gaze at the Taj Mahal at a distance, from his cell in the fort. Followed by visit to the Sikandra.
Drive to Jaipur. En-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of the Mughal Empire. The city boasts some of the magnificent monuments uilt during the Mughal Era, which include the Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. You have time to explore the corners of Fatehpur Sikri before continuing way.
After visit continue drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur check into the Hotel.
Today after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amber Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of ride on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen, all monuments are located in the vicinity of City Palace Complex of Jaipur.
Later afternoon is kept free to visit the famous Markets of Textiles, Gems, Carpets, and handicrafts. Jaipur is an ideal place for buying souvenirs.
Today drive to Delhi where you will be transferred to airport for your onward journey
