Shimla

Shimla is a capital city of Himachal and is known after a Hindu goddess of Shyamala Devi and incarnation of Kali Devi. Height of Shimla town is 2206 mtrs above sea level and being very near to Chandigarh [Just 3 hrs drive - 112 kms] and from Delhi [8 hrs - 350kms] makes it a popular destination to escape from the heat of the plains.


Manali

Manali is one the most beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh. At an altitude of 2050 mtrs, this hill station is located at the banks of river Beas. This is entry point of a ancient trade route to Ladakh. Manali is famous with Indian travelers as it offers snow at Rohtang Pass throughout the year. Manali is 270 kms from Shimla, 310 kms from Chandigarh and 550 kms from Delhi


Chandigarh

Chandigarh is a capital of Harayana and Punjab. This is a gateway to most famous hill stations of Himachal namely Shimla and Manali.Airfare

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Chandigarh - Shimla Distance 115km (Approx 3-4hrs)

  Arrive at Chandigarh station / airport. Our representative shall welcome you and then transfer to Shimla. This will be approx 3 hrs drive - 115 kms. Arrive at Shimla and check into the hotel after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to explore Shimla on your own. Just relax or explore shopping options at Mall road.

• Day 2 : Shimla Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, free time for lunch, then sight seeing of various places in and around. Vice Regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grindlays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay, The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the North The Mall. Overnight at Hotel.

• Day 3 : Shimla - Manali - Travel Time - 7 Hrs / 165 Kms

  After breakfast, proceed to Manali by road [approx 7 hrs drive]. Check in to hotel after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to relax and enjoy scenic beauty of Manali.

• Day 4 : Manali Local Sightseeing

  Full day sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hidimba Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan monastery and at evening explore local market. You may try adventure sports such as Zorbing, river crossing etc on direct payment basis.

• Day 5 : Manali - Rohtang Pass

  Today take an excursion to Snow Point (Excursion to Rohtang Pass). Please note you need to pay for Snow point / Rohtang pass excursion charges directly and are not included in your tour cost. Rohtang situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 kms outside Manali is the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. Enjoy snow based activities at snow point. Please note vehicle will go only upto snow point and reaching Rohtang pass(Closed on Tuesday) is subject to weather conditions and local authority permission. Evening at Leisure.

• Day 6 : Manali - Chandigarh Travel Time - 9 Hrs - 325 Kms

  Checkout and proceed to Chandigarh. Drive along the Beas river passing through Kullu and Mandi towns. Pass through Swarghat and arrive at Chandigarh. Visit Rock garden and Chandigarh city if time permits. Overnight at Chandigarh.

• Day 7 : Say Good Bye to Chandigarh

  Check out before 10:00 hrs and we shall drop you to Chandigarh station / airport. Your tour ends with great memories to cherish.
