Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Jaisalmer

  Arrival: Pickup from Jaisalmer airport or railway station.
  Evening:
  Gadisar Lake: Built by Maharawal Gadsi Singh in the 14th century. Originally a water reservoir, now a peaceful lake surrounded by temples and shrines.
  Explore local bazaars for camel leather goods and mirror work crafts.
  Overnight: Jaisalmer

• Day 2 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing

  Morning:
  Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila): Built in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal. A “living fort” still inhabited. Yellow sandstone gives it a golden hue in sunlight. Houses temples, shops, royal palaces.
  Jain Temples inside Fort (12th-16th century): Fine carvings, dedicated to Tirthankaras like Rishabdev.
  Afternoon:
  Patwon Ki Haveli: A group of five havelis built by a wealthy trader family in the 19th century. Famous for mirror work, jharokhas, and murals.
  Salim Singh Ki Haveli & Nathmal Ki Haveli: Unique architecture and stone carvings.
  Evening:
  Sam Sand Dunes / Khuri: Sunset camel safari followed by cultural folk dance show and Rajasthani dinner (optional camp overnight).
  Overnight: Jaisalmer

• Day 3 : Jaisalmer → Bikaner

  Drive Time: ~6 hrs / 330 km
  En route: Desert landscapes and small village stopovers.
  Afternoon:
  Junagarh Fort: Built by Raja Rai Singh in 1589, unique for being built on a plain (not a hill). Palaces like Anup Mahal, Phool Mahal, and Ganga Mahal show opulent interiors and Rajput architecture.
  Lalgarh Palace: Early 20th-century Indo-Saracenic red sandstone palace.
  Overnight: Bikaner

• Day 4 : Bikaner → Mandawa (Shekhawati Region)

  Drive Time: ~4–5 hrs / 190 km
  Afternoon in Mandawa:
  Mandawa Fort (1755): Founded by Thakur Nawal Singh, known for its mirror work, frescoes, and arched gateways.
  Painted Havelis of Mandawa:
  Goenka Haveli
  Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli
  Murmuria Haveli – European-style murals and British soldiers painted alongside Indian deities.
  The region is known as the "open-air art gallery of Rajasthan".
  Overnight: Mandawa

• Day 5 : Mandawa → Jaipur

  Drive Time: ~4.5 hrs / 170 km
  Arrival in Jaipur: Check-in and relax.
  Evening Visit (Optional):
  Birla Temple: White marble temple dedicated to Vishnu & Lakshmi.
  Chokhi Dhani: Cultural village experience with traditional food, music, dance.
  Overnight: Jaipur

  Afternoon:
  City Palace: Royal residence with museums, weapons, costumes.
  Jantar Mantar (1728): Astronomical observatory, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  Hawa Mahal (1799): “Palace of Winds” with 953 small windows (jharokhas).
  Evening: Shopping at Johari Bazaar / Bapu Bazaar.
  Overnight: Jaipur

• Day 7 : Jaipur → Delhi

  Drive Time: ~5 hrs / 280 km
  En route visit options (if early start):
  Chand Baori, Abhaneri: 9th-century stepwell with over 3,500 symmetrical steps.

  Arrival in Delhi: Check-in, free time or short visit depending on arrival time.
