Early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds), visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 100kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. On arrival in Pahalgam, transfer to Hotel. Start your day with visit to famous Baisaran Valley, For visiting you will have to take Pony because no vehicle can go on hill top. Enjoy the beautiful 1 hour trek on mountain en route enjoy photography at thekashmir valley. Return back from Baisaran and proceed to enjoy River Rafting .The visit of pahalgham is incomplete without Chandanwari 16 km away, accessible by road ) is the starting point for the annual Amarnath Yatra. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs.
