Day 1

On Arrival at Jammu, proceed towards Katra

On Arrival at Jammu,proceed towards Katra. Katra City situated in the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains where the Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located.it is 43.6 Kms from the city of Jammu. After reaching at your hotel, take some rest and get refresh and the Rest Of The day is yours to go for leisure activities. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Katra.

AT KATRA FOR THE LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Vaishno Devi Temple

After heaving breakfast you can proceed for the visiting the Mata vaishno Devi temple and Vaishno Devi cave temple and after that you can go for local sightseeing to Shalimar park and relax there.In the evening you can explore the local market of Katra city. KATRA – PAHALGAM ( 212.3 KMS/ 6.30 HOURS ONE WAY)

After breakfast cheackout from the hotel and Proceed Towards Pahalgam as soon as possible, because you have to go for a long journey to Pahalgam, Pahalgam The 'Valley Of Shepherds' Which Is Situated At The Confluence Of The Streams Flowing From THE RIVER LIDDER And SHESHNAG LAKE, En Route Visit The Awantipura Ruins. The Ancient Township Of AWANTIPURA Founded By King Awantiwarman (855-883 AD) Is Renowned For The Impressive Ruins Of The Two Temple Complexes He Built Here In The 9th Century Namely Awantisvamin, Dedicated To Lord Vishnu, And Avantisvara, Dedicated To Lord Shiva. After reaching at hotel in Srinagar you can refresh and go for the local sightseeing places at Srinagar like Shankarachariya temple, Mughal Gardens and Srinagar’s local market for shopping e.t.c.
