KILIMANJARO WONDER

Arrival at Machame Gate to begin the Machame Route trek. Administrative formalities at the gate are completed and the trek commences with initial walking and acclimatization. The day concludes with setting up camp at the designated Machame area for the first overnight.

Trek from the Machame area ascending to the Shira Plateau and establish camp at Shira Camp. The day focuses on gaining altitude gradually for acclimatization while traversing characteristic Kilimanjaro landscapes en route to the Shira camping area.

Continue the Machame Route moving from Shira Plateau towards the southern slopes and Barranco Camp. The route includes varied terrain as you progress and the day ends with camping at Barranco for further acclimatization.

Advance from Barranco Camp up towards Karanga Camp. This segment of the Machame Route continues gradual ascent for acclimatization, with trekking through highland environments before reaching Karanga Camp where camping is arranged.

Proceed from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp in preparation for the summit attempt. The day involves further ascent and positioning at Barafu Camp which serves as the final staging camp prior to the summit push.

Summit day starting from Barafu Camp with an ascent to the summit followed by descent to Mweka Camp. The day includes the summit attempt and after reaching the summit the descent continues down the mountain to Mweka Camp where overnight camping is arranged.

Final descent from Mweka Camp down to the park exit completing the trek. The day focuses on descending through the lower mountain zones until reaching the end point where the trek concludes.
