After breakfast transfer to domestic airport for a spectacular mountain flight to Sgr located on the foot of Himalayan Mountains. On arrival, transfer to deluxe boathouse, which is anchored, on the famous Dal Lake for overnight. Srinagar, the capital of the state in Jammu and Kashmir is a crowded and colorful city. The people look different from those in the rest of India. The water world of the Dal and Nagin Lake are amazingly clear and the houseboats have been a part of Kashmir’s aquatic culture for centuries. Afternoon cruise on Dal Lake visiting the Floating Gardens, Lotus and vegetable gardens and back waters on the lake.

Today we11proceed to Gulmarg, (Meadows of Flowers) which is one of the premier winter sports resort in Kashmir. At the height of 2S91 meters, in winter period it offers a breathtaking view of the snow covered slopes of Alpharwat and Khilanmarg mountains, which provide playgrounds for every type of winter sport such as skiing, tobogganing, skating and etc. In summer, you witness the beauty of natural surroundings of Kashmir set out like doll’s village. Enroute stop, at villages to witness the country life of the Kashmiris. Take a gondola ride in this beautiful ski resort. (Optional).

After breakfast, start early for our excursion to Pahalgam at 2,400 meters. (Valley of Shepherds). The drive will pass through Pine Mountains and the cascading Udder River. Enroute visit Anantnag town the second largest town of Kashmir and Mattan Temple. Pahalgam is known as the take off point for treks in the surrounding Himalayan Mountains. After lunch, trek towards Aru, a gradual walk over the jeepable road of 10 kms. The entire route is wooded and rich pine towers above’ the green meadows. Overnight in tents. Today’s trek is approximately 4 hours.

from Aru the trail ascends the bridle .track behind the village. The climb is quite steep in places until the trail reaches a small meadow. From here the track levels out through forest for 2 to 3 kms before reaching an alpine meadow that forms one at-the most picturesque settings in Kashmir. Gujar and Kashmiri shepherds .who are fully acquainted with trekkers populate the meadow. .Continue until you are past the confluence of Udder – T-arsar–Rive..There after cross the bridge that leads to Lidderwat a meters. Overnight in tents. Today’s trek is approximately 5 hours

Today is a long day trek to Kolahi Glacier for approximately hours. The trail is quite level by Himalayan standards, with few ups and downs until you reach the birch forests just below Satlanjan. From here is a steep ascent towards the Kolahoi Base camp. Return to camp for overnight stay and enjoy camp fire at Lidderwat.

After breakfast resume the trek to Pahalgam and transport is waiting at Mandlan for drive back to Srinagar. On arrival enjoy the houseboat stay with farewell dinner.
