Paschim Medinipur district or West Midnapore district is among one of the biggest districts of West Bengal. It was formed on January 1, 2002 after the Partition of Midnapore into Paschim Medinipur and Purba Medinipur. Medinipur district is much enriched in its archaeology. Pre-historic features of this region can be proved from its Stone Age evidences, which are collected from the river-beds of Subarnarekha, Kansavati and Tarapheni.
Moghalmari is located on the left bank of Subarnarekha River in the district of West Medinipur, 3.2 miles north of Dantan. Since the turn of the millennium an extensive excavation have reveled the remains of an ancient Budhhist Monastery. The name Moghalmari probably originated from a pitch battle of 16th century between the Mughal and the local king. Although the Mughal army emerged victorious but a large number of Mughal soldiers were killed and hence the name.
Arrival at Kharagpur and transfer to Shiromoni Garh
Upon arrival meet and greet at railway station and transfer to Shiromoni garh. Upon arrival check in at resort or hotel. After fresh up proceed for sightseeing visit Temple village Pathra, Karnagarh temple, Flim city Overnight stay at hotel/ resort.

Kharagpur- Excursion to Moghal Mari
After breakfast check out and proceed to Kharagpur upon arrival check in. Later proceed to Mogholmari the new Buddhist circuit and then visit Kurumbera Fort. Evening return to Kharagpur. Overnight stay at Kharagpur.
