Leh Ladakh Tour

Arrive at Leh Airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest for the day to acclimatize to the high altitude, avoid strenuous activities and stay hydrated. Spend the evening at leisure and have an overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, undertake local sightseeing in and around Leh including visits to the Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. If time permits visit SECMOL Rancho School. Return to Leh for overnight stay.

Drive from Leh to Nubra Valley covering approximately 125 km in around 5 to 6 hours. The route crosses the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the worlds highest motorable roads. In Nubra Valley visit Diskit Monastery and view the giant Maitreya Buddha statue, enjoy optional camel rides on the Hunder sand dunes, check in to the hotel or camp and overnight in Nubra Valley.

Drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake covering approximately 275 km in around 7 to 8 hours via the scenic Shyok route subject to road conditions. Enjoy breathtaking views of the crystal clear lake, witness the changing colors of the lake during sunset, check in to the lakeside camp and overnight at Pangong Lake.

Enjoy sunrise over Pangong Lake in the morning. Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass covering approximately 225 km in around 6 to 7 hours. En route visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace before checking in to the hotel in Leh for an overnight stay.

Explore local Leh visiting Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. Explore the local market for handicrafts, pashmina products, Tibetan souvenirs and local cuisine. Spend the evening at leisure and overnight in Leh.

Optional very early departure for an excursion to Tso Moriri Lake which requires a long drive and may include an additional overnight stay near Tso Moriri. Alternatively enjoy a relaxed day exploring Lehs cafes, monasteries and local culture. Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes with memorable experiences of the Himalayas.
