Day 1 : ARRIVE LEH KUSHOK BAKULA AIRPORT

Arrival at Leh KushokBakula airport our representative will meet &greet you and transfer to the Hotel. This flight is one of the most sensational flights in the world. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif. You would take a little time to settle in and acclimatize since you have gone from a relatively low elevation in New Delhi to over (Altitude 11,000 feet). Day at leisure for acclimatization later in the afternoon walk to the market, Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2 : VISIT SANGAM-MEGNATIC HILL-GURDUWARA-HALL OF FAME 30 KM 2/3 HRS

Morning drive to Sangam the confluence points of Indus and Zanskar river, one can enjoy the river rafting in Zanskar river. Later visit Gurdwara Pather Sahib, built in 1517, is a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to the Ladakh region. At Magnetic Hill it has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on a neutral gear the vehicle slides up-hill due to the magnetic force. On the way back to Leh visit Hall of Fame is a museum maintained by the Indian Army. Day 3 : LEH - OVER KHARDUNG LA (5602 M) - NUBRA VALLEY – BY SURFACE / 126 KMS 4/5 HRS

Check inn in your Resort and after some rest visit Samstanling monastery.
The road journey from Leh to Nubra Valley passes over Khardungla (the highest motorable road in the world) at 5602 M, around 39 km from Leh. From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The road after crosses Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River & enters Nubra. Over Night.

Day 4 : Diskit – Hunder and Turtuk 180 Kms roun5/6 HRS

Visit DESKIT VILLAGE: Deskit is the main village of headquarter of Nubra valley, which has a small market consisting of a row of shops and about 500 years old Gompa on the hilltop. Spectacular view of the valley can be seen form the monastery.

DESKIT GOMPA: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama SherabZangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar.
Drive to Turtuk village, which is the last village on Indian side, bordering POK. Till 1971 this village was under Pakistan. On the way back visit Hunder.

HUNDAR VILLAGE: Hundar is a beautiful village with lot of trees and you will really enjoy your to visit Hundar. It has a small monastery and ruined fort above the village. The walk or Camel Safari (Double Hump Bactrian camels.) Over night.

Day 5 : NUBRA-PANGONG LAKE - (ALTITUDE 4300 MTRS. 160, 5-6 HOURS DRIVE).

Early morning leave after breakfast to Pangong Lake which is the largest brackish lake in Asia, with a larger part of it extending into Tibet. The lake is 130 km long and 5 km at its widest point with half of it running to the other side of the Indo-China border. Despite of being a salt-water lake, it freezes completely during winter. There is no marine life here, save for a few migrating birds now and then like gulls and brahminy ducks.
Being at the border, the furthest point one is allowed to go to, is Spangmik, about 7 km along its western bank, but it is enough to take back the most beautiful memories of Ladakh. The very barren-ness and vastness of the area contributes to its striking beauty. Spangmik offers spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, and their reflections in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lake's brackish waters. Day 6 : PANGONG –LEH 140 KM VIA THIKSAY-SINDHU GHAT 5-6 HRS

Morning after the breakfast at the camp drive back to Leh via Chang la pass 5300 mt, on the way visit Thiksey Monastery (Details: - Located about 17 kms south of Leh, this monastery of characteristic beauty is probably the most photographed, and also the best place around Leh to see a puja. It is a magnificent complex with its red and yellow main building rising grandly above the numerous monk cells. The Chambalhakhang (house of God for the Buddha to come) was built in 1980 in hnour of the Dalai Lama and houses an impressive two-storey Maitreya Buddha. This gompa that houses about 500 monks belongs to the Gelukpa sect, and exhibits excellent works of art.The roof of this monastery provides a panoramic view with the Zanskar range in the backdrop.) then visit Sindhu Ghat the place for the Sindhu Darshan festival at the bank of Indus river, overnight hotel.

Day 7 : DEPART LEH -KUSHOK BAKULA AIRPORT

Morning after breakfast, transfer to airport board your flight towards Destination Covered, to enjoy yet again, a beautiful flight over the great Himalayas.
