Lobuche Peak Climbing Package

Lobuche peak climbing consist two distinct peak climbing namelyLobuche east (6119m/ 20,075ft) and Lobuche west (6145m/20161ft) connected by a continuous ridge and separated by a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. Among these two Lobuche east (6119m/ 20,075ft) is more professional and popular peak for mountaineering, offering various routes for climbing. Both of the Lobuche peaks require special trekking peak permits to summit on it. Normally we climb Lobuche peak through its Southern Ridge but Lobuche east peak consists of several small summits and for climbing the true summit we have to climb via summit ridge through steep snowy trail and icy slopes to its apex. Lobuche peak climbing is not just an adventurous peak climbing but perfect combination of the peak climbing and trekking all the way through the Khumbu region getting an opportunity to observe a close up views of the Mt.Ama Dablam, Mt. Cholaste, Mt. Thamserku, Kantega peak and Tawache and most of all Mt. Everest itself

For climbing Lobuche peak we follow the usual trekking route up to Everest base camp. We fly from Kathmandu to Lukla via 35 minutes of our scenic mountain flight. From Lukla, we trek up to Namche bazaar. In Namche bazaar we spend a day acclimatizing our self and taking day-hikes in spectacular surroundings. From Namche bazaar we continue our trek up to Pheriche and from Pheriche to Thugla. We establish our base camp at 4,950 meter from the sea level near an alpine lake in a rocky topography at the base of frosty south west ridge. From the base camp we climb via southern ridge through the steep stony terraces and snowy slopes with the help of fixed ropes just below the main glacier of the south western face of Lobuche East. Here we fix our high camp on the edge of rocky terrains from where we follow the sharp snow ridge turning into the main summit.
