This is 31 days trek is best undertaken in September and October and is regarded as one of the most difficult treks in the world because of the altitude - infact trekkers often find they are unable to complete the route due to heavy snowfall on the high passes.the trek start from drukgyal dzong and follows the route of the Laya - gasa trek till Laya,after which you climb to Tarina crossing two hig passes and catching views of tshendagang,Jhomolhari,Gangla Karchung,Kangbum,terigang and Jegegangphugang.The best views of the entire trek are past Gangla karchung La from where you also see a glacier sweeping down from Terigang and ending in lugi Tsho,The brilliant glacial lake that burst in the 60’s and again in the 90’s, causing a flood that destroyed part of punakha dzong.The route takes you over a ridge that offer most dramatic panoramic mountains view and down into a wide glacial valley.

Arrive Paro by Druk Air.On arrival and after visa formalities you will be received by Yatra Bhutan Tours and Treks representatives and transferred to your very comfortable hotel.
In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to explore Paro town a little and visit Paro Dzong. A Dzong is part fortress, part castle, part monastery and part administration building. Paro Dzong is one of Bhutan’s most impressive and well-known dzongs, and the finest example of Bhutanese architecture we’ll see. The inward-sloping walls form a massive structure that towers over the town and is visible as a great white monolith from vantage points throughout the valley. Paro is at 2280 metres (7500 ft).
The hike which is all up hill takes about 2 /3 hours through villages and pine forests. The monastery which clings to a huge granite cliff 800 meters above the Paro valley.During the end of the 17 century, a monastery was built on the spot where the saint meditated and it is a pilgrimage site for every Bhutanese to visit once in their life time.
