Mesmerizing Meghalaya 5 Night - 6 Days Tour

Arrival at Guwahati Airport. Meet and greet at the Airport and then visit Kamakhya Temple – one of the largest Shaktipeeth situated on Nilachal Hills. Later proceed to Shillong – known as Scotland of the east which is a popular hill station of northeast India. En-route visit Umium lake (Barapani lake) – largest manmade lake of Meghalaya. After reaching, check-in at the hotel. Later if time permits, visit Polo Ground, Wards Lake, Don Bosco Museum (Sunday closed) Police Bazar (for shopping activities). Overnight stay at Shillong.

Today morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for Cherrapunjee – the wettest place in the world. En-route visit Elephanta Falls and Wah Kaba Falls. After reaching Cherrapunjee, visit numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Dainthelen Falls, Eco Park. After lunch proceed to experience the caving at Mawsmai cave, Garden of Caves. Rest of the time is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Note: At Wah Kaba Falls, not a single drop of water can be seen. Even during the rainy season, there is absolutely no water, and especially in the cold months of October, November, and December, there will be no water at all. So, visiting Wah Kaba Falls might not even be worth it.

Morning after breakfast, proceed for Double Decker Root Bridge Trek and Tyrna Village. Evening come back and stay at hotel. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Note: It is suggestable to go for trekking early morning.

Today morning after breakfast, we will go for a day long excursion to Mawlynnong – known as Asia’s Cleanest Village. At Mawlynnong, visit Living Root Bridge and Natural Balancing Rock and the beautiful Mawlynnong village. After lunch, visit Dawki – a small town situated in the border of India and Bangladesh. Visit Umngot river and India-Bangladesh border. Evening check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Dawki.

Today early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to excursion of Wah Kaba Falls and Tyrna Village. Later after lunch, proceed back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Note: Since Phe Phe Falls is a trekking route, so the vehicle cannot go till there. Tourists need to go for trek.
