Nairobi - Nanyuki
After breakfast, depart from Nairobi and arrive in time for lunch at Nanyuki town where your body will also have time to start acclimatizing to high altitude.
Dinner and overnight is at a Budget Hotel.
Nanyuki – Old Moses
After breakfast, leave Nanyuki for the Park Gate to start climbing to the first Hut, Old Moses 3,300m. Lunch will be enroute.
Old Moses - Shiptons
After breakfast, you depart for a long walk (5-7hrs) with lunch enroute, to the second Hut at Shiptons. The altitude here (4,200M) is important for further acclimatization purposes.
Shiptons – Austrian Hut (via Simba Col)
After breakfast, you hike through Simba Col via the tooth for an overnight stay at Austrian Hut (4700M) with lunch enroute. Please note this base camp is only used when climbing through the normal route.

A free acclimatization day at Austrian Hut, all meals inclusive. You can attempt point Lenana. (4985M)
Austrian Hut – Met Station
With all meals inclusiveAttempt points Nelion and Batian. (5195M) Early rise and start are recommended. Descend to Meteorological station for overnight on the 7th night.
