MOUNT KILIMANJARO 7 DAYS ITINERARY

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Londorossi Gate for registration before starting the trek through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp. Driving Time 4–5 Hours, Hiking Time 3–4 Hours. Meals for the day are Lunch and Dinner and you will overnight at Mti Mkubwa Camp.

After breakfast continue hiking through the heath and moorland zone while enjoying spectacular views of the Shira Plateau. The hiking time for the day is approximately 5–6 Hours. Meals include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and you will overnight at Shira 1 Camp.

Todays trek is shorter, allowing your body to acclimatize to the increasing altitude while crossing the beautiful Shira Plateau. Hiking Time is around 4–5 Hours. Meals provided are Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and you will overnight at Shira 2 Camp.

Climb gradually to Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp. This is an important acclimatization day that greatly improves your chances of reaching the summit. Hiking Time for the day is approximately 6–8 Hours. Meals include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and you will overnight at Barranco Camp.

Climb the famous Barranco Wall before trekking through valleys and ridges to Karanga Camp. Hiking Time is about 4–5 Hours. Meals for the day are Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and you will overnight at Karanga Camp.

Continue to Barafu Camp, the base camp for your summit attempt. After an early dinner rest and prepare for the midnight climb. Hiking Time to Barafu is approximately 3–4 Hours. Meals include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and you will overnight at Barafu Camp in preparation for the summit push.

Start your summit attempt shortly after midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak 5,895m the highest point in Africa and enjoy the unforgettable sunrise. Descend to Mweka Gate where you will receive your summit certificate before driving back to Arusha. The full summit push and descent hiking time is approximately 10–14 Hours. Meals for the day include Breakfast and Lunch.
