Day 1

Arrival Bagdogra to Pheuntsholing night Jaigaon ( Approx 4-5 Hrs Drive)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP / IXB & transfer to Pheuntsholing - The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India, Pheuntsholing (also sometimes spelled Phuntsholing) is the second largest town in Bhutan (population around 40,000) and is located on the Indian border, next to the town of Jaigaon.
Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Pheuntsholing to Thimphu ( Approx 178 Km/6-7 Hrs Drive)

Breakfast at the hotel. On 09 a.m onwards permit has to be obtained at Department of Immigration ( Permit procedure may take times ). After Permit , drive to Thimphu.
Stop for lunch
Visit Kharbandi Gompa on the way
On arrival at Thimphu check in at the hotel. Overnight in Thimphu.

Day 3

Day Excursion to Punakha

Have Breakfast in the hotel.
Check out from the hotel & drive to Dochula Pass.
Visit Dochula Pass (3150m.)- 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens built over the pass by queen mother in 2003 marks the pass more important and beautiful.
Visit Punakha Dzong
Visit Suspension bridge
Evening drive to Thimphu
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4

Thimphu Sightseeing and drive to Paro

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing includes
National Memorial Chorten- This stupa was built in 1974 in the memory of Bhutan's third King, His Late Majesty, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, who is popularly regarded as Father of modern Bhutan.
Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), visitors can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from here, Chang Gangkha Monastery, the oldest temple in the valley.
Takin Zoo, Visit Simply Bhutan – A living Museum

Day 5

Hike to Taktsang Monastery

After early morning breakfast hike to Taktsang or "Tiger's Nest" Monastery . It takes approx 3 hrs hike one way. Return at hotel by afternoon. Evening is free. Overnight in Paro.
NOTE: Please ensure yourself that you are fit for this hike before you do this hike. The hike is a steep climb uphill.

Day 6

Paro to Pheuntsholing, Jaigaon. 178 kms /6-7 hours drive

After check out drive to Phuentsholing

Day 7

Departure from Jaigaon to Bagdogra (04 hours drive)

In the morning, you can enjoy Jeep safari (Optional - Own Cost) inside the grassland of Dooars to watch the great Indian Rhino in their natural habitat. Later drive to Bagdogra/NJP Station (02 hrs ) to your onward journey. - Tour Ends.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :

The following is based on a cancellation before the start of a tour program:
Before 31 days : 5% cancellation charges
Between 21 - 30 days : 20% cancellation charges from only land package
Between 10 - 20 days : 50% cancellation charges from only land package
Less than 9 days : 100% cancellation charges from only land package

Note: The group can be postponed to avoid any cancellation charges. No charges if postpone the group to next any date within one year.

There is no cancellation charges for the Government Royalty/SDF. It will be full refunded prior to any number of days or no show.
