Auckland

Auckland is a commercial capital of New Zealand. This is also the largest city of this country. You have good connection to and from India to this city. Sky city tower, Botanical garden, plenty of islands near the city and lots of shopping are key attractions of Auckland. You may also take a day trip to Waitomo caves and Te Puia and Pohutu gysers.


Rotorua

A geothermal wonderland of boiling mud pools and spectacular geysers awaits visitors to Rotorua. Its landscape is a mix of lush fields that support a thriving agricultural industry and beautiful lakes.

Marvel at the natural wonders of Te Puia and explore its thermal valley of geysers, streams of boiling water and hot mud pools and get an insight into Maori culture through performance and traditional carving, weaving and art all created on site. The Agrodome is one of New Zealand’s most loved attractions and is a fun window into the farming culture with a sheep show, shearing and dog trials. Native flora and fauna is on display at Rainbow Springs Nature Park, including New Zealand’s national icon, the Kiwi.


Christchurch

Christchurch has emerged revitalized following the earthquake that devastated much of the Canterbury region in February 2011. This has led to the development of new city plans, a bold public art programme and innovative use of space, such as the Re:START mall, a shopping mall made from shipping containers! Christchurch’s historical charm and atmosphere has seen it often compared with England. It is also known as New Zealand’s Garden City. The beachside village of Sumner is a popular stop, while you can enjoy panoramic views of Christchurch, the Canterbury Plains and Southern Alps from the Port Hills. The TranzAlpine railway - one of the world's top train journeys on a spectacular scenic ride starts from Christchurch.

Franz Josef

A small but scenic town is located just 5 kms away from Franz Josef glacier and can be reached by walk in just 30 mins. To explore glacier you make take guided hiking tours, Heli tours or flightseeing. This area is full of natural attractions such as lakes, rain-forests, hot pools and waterfalls.

Queenstown

Queenstown is located south of Mount Cook nestled along the vivid blue glacier-fed Lake Tekapo. This lake and alpine resort is New Zealand's adventure capital. Fom bungy jumping to wine tasting, Lord of the Rings film locations to historic gold mining towns and jet boating on the Shotover River, there are activities and attractions in Queenstown to whet every appetite.

Queenstown is the home of bungy jumping - if you dare, launch yourself into the air from the Kawarau Bridge, 43 metres above the Kawarau River. Keep your adrenaline levels high with a jet boat trip on the Shotover River, where the dramatically narrow canyons and high speed ride will take your breath away. Movie buffs will want to visit the Kawarau Gorge, where scenes from The Lord of the Rings were filmed. Queenstown is part of the Central Otago wine region, where some of New Zealand’s best wines are made, especially Pinot Noir. The award-winning Gibbston Valley Winery just outside Queenstown is a must-see for a wine tasting, while in neighbouring Arrowtown you’ll feel you have stepped back in time to the 1860s when this historic goldmining town was booming.Airfare

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive at Auckland

  Arrive at Auckland and we shall transfer you to hotel by shared AC Coach. Check in after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to relax after a hectic air travel and evening explore city on your own. You may visit Sky Tower which is a 328 mtrs high Tower offering excellent Birds eye view of the city. You may opt for a Sky jump or a skywalk or a romantic dinner at the tower or try your luck at Casino.

• Day 2 : Auckland Half Day City Tour

  Today enjoy guided city tour of Auckland. First we drive past along the main road of Queen Street, past iconic Karangahape Road and the stylish suburb of Ponsonby. Cross over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline. Visit the Viaduct Harbour and the historic buildings around the University of Auckland. Then visit Auckland Domain developed around an extinct volcano, the Domain features 75 hectares of open spaces, tropical gardens, duck ponds and public art, and is home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Next, travel the stunning waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park.
  
  Then day is free to explore Auckland on your own. Try your adventure at Sky City tower or explore shopping in Auckland.

• Day 3 : Auckland - Waitomo - Te Puia - Rotorua

  Check out from Auckland hotel and proceed to the small town of Waitomo, where youll enjoy a 45-minute guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Caves. Travel through these underground limestone caverns, discovered in 1887, and hear how the amazing stalactites, stalagmites, and other weird and wonderful rock formations were formed over a period of 30 million years. Your tour finishes with a short but magical boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto – a subterranean cavern illuminated by thousands of tiny glowworms.
  
  Enjoy a delicious picnic-style lunch as we make our way to Rotorua, in the heart of the Central North Island. On the outskirts of the city, we stop at the Agrodome, an organic working farm. Take a tour of the Agrodome farm in an all-terrain vehicle, see how sheep are shorn and watch a live sheep dog trial. Leaving the Agrodome, we make our way to Te Puia, one of New Zealands foremost cultural venues. At Te Puias marae (meeting house) you will receive a traditional welcome and be invited to experience a M?ori cultural performance. Next to Te Puia is the famous Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. Take a guided tour of its active geysers and boiling mudpools. See the world-famous Pohutu geyser unleash vapour jets up to 30 metres high. Your tour also includes entry to Te Puias woodcarving and weaving schools. The tour ends when we drop you to your hotel.

• Day 4 : Rotorua to Christchurch Flight

  Check out and we shall transfer you to Rotorua airport. Arrive at Christchurch airport and we shall transfer you to hotel. Check in after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to explore this garden city on your own. Do visit a new concept mall called Re Start which a shopping mall made from shipping containers.

• Day 5 : Christchurch Half Day City Tour By Double Decker Bus

  Today board a classic open top double decker for a one-hour bus tour around central Christchurch. Your guide will tell you about the history of the city. You will view some of the areas affected by the earthquakes and how they are preserving their heritage landmarks. Experience the natural beauty of Hagley Park, the Avon River and Botanic Gardens, as well as the recently reopened New Regent Street with its distinctive Spanish Mission style architecture, and the Re:START mall, an innovative development created entirely out of shipping containers!
  
  Following your Christchurch city tour, we head towards the picturesque seaside village of Sumner where there is time to explore the beach and its interesting rock formations. From there we travel up the Port Hills to the historic Sign of the Takahe, a listed heritage building where you will enjoy panoramic views overlooking Christchurch City, the port of Lyttelton, the Canterbury Plains and the Southern Alps.

• Day 6 : Christchurch - Tranz Alpine Rail - Franz Josef

  Today check out and proceed to Christchurch railway station to board a world famous scenic train ride of Tranz Alpine Railway from Christchurch to Greymouth via Aurthur Pass. From Greymouth you shall board a coach just outside the station which will transfer you to Franz Josef town. Franz Josef is a small town at glacier. Walk down to your hotel and check in. Day is free to explore Franz Josef on your own.

• Day 7 : Day is Free At Franz Josef

  Today relax in the lap of nature or take optional tours of your choice such as Walk along the Glacier Valley or Take a Helicopter ride to the glacier or just take hot pool bath surrounded by rain forest.

• Day 8 : Franz Josef to Queenstown By Coach

  Check out and proceed to exciting resort town of Queenstown by coach. Leave the small village of Franz Josef, and proceed through the remote and rugged landscape of the West Coast. See moody mountain ranges, thick native rainforest and wild rocky shores as you travel. Cross over to the East Coast through the Haast Pass, the southernmost pass in the Southern Alps. On the other side, enjoy picture-postcard views of vibrant blue lakes like Lake Hawea, Lake Wanaka and Lake Dunstan as you make your way into scenic Queenstown. Check into the hotel after 14:00 hrs. Day is free to explore Scenic town of Queenstown on your own.

• Day 9 : Full Day Milford Sound Tour By Coach

  Embark on a breathtakingly scenic journey to Milford Sound and experience the world-famous fjord in all its glory with a cruise on its pristine waters. Leaving Queenstown, travel past tranquil Te Anau, along the Eglinton Valley and through the Homer Tunnel, a 1.2km underpass drilled through solid rock. Experience The Chasm, a short but impressive walk over footbridges spanning powerful waterfalls and rapids.
  
  At Milford Sound, board a luxury cruise for 1 hour 45 minute scenic cruise. Explore the length of the fjord, seeing glacier-scarred rock walls, lush native forest and waterfalls tumbling down from high above. The dramatic profile of Mitre Peak, rising out of the fjord to a height of 1,692 metres above sea level, is another highlight. Your cruise includes a tasty buffet lunch (Indian options available) After your cruise, return to Queenstown by coach.
  
  You may take an upgrade of scenic flight from Milford to Queenstown at extra cost.

• Day 10 : Half Day City Tour of Queenstown

  Today proceed to 3 hours orientation tour of Queenstown. Travel up the Queenstown Hill and enjoy spectacular birds-eye views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables. The we shall visit AJ Hacketts world famous Bungy Bridge and watch the jumpers from the viewing deck. Visit the award-winning Gibbston Valley Winery, founded by a pioneer of the Central Otago wine industry, and sample a selection of wines produced on site. Further we shall transport you to Middle-earth at the Kawarau Gorge, film location for the Pillars of the Kings in The Lord of the Rings. Then discover beautiful Arrowtowns captivating history and colonial architecture. Highlights are the Lakes District Museum and the Chinese miners settlement, as well as plus boutique shopping, great cafés and restaurants. After noon is free to explore Queenstown on your own.
