Full day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan on the banks of river Yamuna in the early 17th century and was the capital of the Mughal kingdom, Red Fort, continue to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and the last great architectural work of the great Mughal builder. Walk through the dense network of narrow alleys of Chandni Chowk - the shopping centre of Old Delhi. Finally visit the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi - the father of the Nation and Jawahar Lal Nehru - first Prime Minister of the Independent India, which are now parks dedicated to their memory.
New Delhi
Also known as the Lutyen’s Delhi, it was the capital of the British Empire and is a contrast to Old Delhi. Some important sights that come under the area of New Delhi include Qutub Minar - the tallest stone tower in India built in 1199; Humayun's Tomb - considered the trend setter of Mughal architecture and a prototype for the fabled Taj Mahal, it was built in the 16th century and India Gate - the War Memorial Arch. Drive past the President’s Estate and Parliament buildings, through Diplomatic Enclave and Connaught Place, main commercial centre of Delhi.

Morning drive to Agra (200 kms, 03-04 hrs drive).
Arrive Agra & check-in at the hotel.
Later sightseeing tour of Agra - Once a capital of the Mughals, today it is famous for its world famous “dream in marble - the Taj Mahal. Built by Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his favorite Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains is a monument to love.
Agra Fort, build over the Mughal period (each emperor adding to it), see various palaces and the Halls of Public and Private Audience.

Early morning drive back to Delhi airport to board the flight to Chandigarh.

Half day sightseeing tour of Shimla Visit the six-storey Vice-Regal Lodge or Rashtrapati Niwas, formerly the residence of Lord Dufferin, the British Viceroy. The style of architecture is English Renaissance, the masonry comprises light blue limestone and the wrought stonework is done in sandstone. Also visit the Christ Church and St. Michael's Cathedral, known for its stained glass windows. Next, visit the Jhaku temple, dedicated to Hanumanji, the attendant of Lord Rama.

Proceed for a full-day tour of Manali. Visit the Hidimba or Dhungri Temple, dedicated to Hidimba, wife of the Pandava prince, Bheema. The temple is noted for its four-storeyed pagoda and exquisite wooden carvings. Visit the Manu Maharishi Temple, dedicated to sage Manu. Later visit Vashisht Kund, to see a pair of old stone temples. Thereafter proceed to the Tibetan Market, featuring shops that sell shawls, woolen clothes, handicrafts, imported goods and souvenirs.

Full days sightseeing tour of Amritsar, visit the famous Golden Temple located in the heart of the city, Jalianwallah Bagh, a memorial built to commemorate the martyrs of the 1919 massacre; the Durgiana Mandir, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga and Baba Atal Rai Tower.
Evening, proceed to the Wagah Border (less than 30 kilometers from the city) between India and Pakistan. At Wagah Border, witness the ceremonial changing of guard, the march-past followed by the singing of national anthem and other patriotic songs. Soldiers parading in full swing and the sight of India-Pakistan border from such close quarters will evoke a sense of nostalgia.
