  • Day 1 : Bhuvaneshwar

    Description :

    Arrival Bhubaneswar, meet & assistance, transfer to hotel. Later visit the 1st century BC rock cut caves at Kahndagiri & udaygiri caves , tribal museum & local market.

    Day 2 : Bhubaneswar – Rayagada 380 km – 10hrs

    Description :

    Morning drive to Rayagada enroute Taptapani the hot sulpher spring continue dive through semi tropical rain forest towards Rayagada, on the way visit the desia kondh tribal villages. Overnight at Rayagada.

    Day 3 : Raygada –chhatikona- Jeypore 210km – 5hrs

    Description :

    Morning drive to chhatikona to visit the weekly market of Dongariya kondhas who were once infamous for human sacrifice, now the substitute is water buffalow. Dongariyas are horticulturist, strong in their traditions, marriage by dormitory system, their supreme diety is mother earth. Later drive to Jeypore enroute visit kuvi kondh village overnight Jeypore.

    Day 4 : Jeypore- Onkudelli- Jeypore 150km- 3hrs

    Description :

    Morning drive to onkudelli the most interesting market of Bonda/ Gadaba & didayee weekly market. 12000 bondas live in the bondhills are isolated till date due to geographical terrain. They speak a different language called remo belongs to austo Asiatic language group. Bonda ladies with shaven head cover their nudity with colourful beads & ornaments . The bonda men with short height always go out with bow & arrow. The group is aggressive. You can see different county side alcohols in the market. Later visit the gadaba tribal villages. Overnight hotel at Jeypore.

    Day 5 : Jeypore - kunduli - jeypore 110km- 3hrs

    Description :

    Drive to kunduli , one of the largest weekly market of rana, Paroja & mali tribal market , later visit the tribal museum at koraput & jagannth temple post launch visit the paroja tribal villages. Overnight at Jeypore.

    Day 6 : Jeypore- Gupteswar- Jeypore 130km- 4 hrs

    Description :

    Post breakfast drive to Gupteswar region to visit dharua gond tribal villages in the forest later visit the siva temple in the cave on the bank of saveri river back to hotel enroute visiting cattle market at Baligaon where you can see dharua & bhumiya tribal groups. Overnight in the hotel at jeypore.

    Day 7 : Jeypore – Rayagada 120km- 3hrs

    Description :

    Drive to Rayagada enroute visiting paroja & kuvi kondh tribal villages Overnight hotel at Rayagada

    Day 8 : Rayagada- Baliguda 180km- 5 hrs

    Description :

    This day drive to Baliguda enroute visiting craft village at Jhigidi where you can see bronze tribal ornaments by lost wax method. Continue drive to the tatoo faced kondha tribal teritory overnight hotel.

    Day 9 : Baliguda – Gopalpur 200km – 5 hrs

    • Gopalpur On Sea

    Description :

    Post breakfast drive to see the tatoo faced kondha tribal villages where you can see the ladies have tatoos on their faces like whishkers of the tigress, visit their sacrifice pillars. Interact with this totemistic group launch & pocedd for gopalpur on sea. Evening check into hotel at Gopalpur

    Day 10 : Gopalpur – chilika lake – Puri 220km – 6hrs

    Description :

    Post breakfast drive to Mangajodi on chilika lake , see the migratory & resident birds from close quarter by koyak boat . Later visit the weaving village at Olasing & continue drive to Puri & Overnight.

    Day 11 : Puri

    • Jagannath Temple

    Description :

    Early morning visit the fisherman village where you can see hundreds of boats going & coming back from sea, photogenic activities, visit their village back to hotel for breakfast. Later walk in the bylanes of hindu heart centre Puri around Jagannath temple to experience devotion of piligrms later see this temple from roof terrace as non hindus are not allowed to enter temple complex. Visit the traditonal potters lane where potters make earthen pots for the temple later visit the folk painting village at Raghurajpur where you can see the patta paintings & palm leaf engravings, interact with the artists & back to hotel at puri.

    Day 12 : Puri - Konarak –Bhubaneswar 120km 2.5 hrs

    • Dhauli

    Description :

    Check out & drive to konark the world heritage site, fine specimen of kalingan school of architecture dedicated to sun god Surya. Later contune drive to Bhubaneswar enroute visiting pipili famous for applique , the villgers make unique handicraft with different coloured fabrics stitched with mirrors & dhauli ashokan rock edict of 2nd century BC. Overnight Hotel at Bhubaneswar.

    Day 13 : Bhubaneswar city tour & drop

    • Rajarani Temple

    Description :

    Morning post breakfast visit the ancient temples of Bhubaneswar like parsurameswar, mukteswar, lingaraj , Rajarani temple. See the hindu ritual activities near bindu sagar tank later drive to hirapur on the outskirt of bhubaneswar to see the unique tantrik temple popularly known as 64 yogini temple later itime transfer to airport to board flight for onward destinations.

    Booking:

    Your contract is with Year Round Holidays. A contract exists between us when we have confirmed you on our tour / hotel booking / or any other travel related services of your choice and we have received your booking request and deposits. All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Year Round Holidays.

    Payments:

    For the services contracted, 25 % advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before commencement of your tour. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services. Apart from the above in some cases like special train journeys , hotel or resort bookings during the high peak tourist season (X-Mas, New Year, Durga Puja etc.) full payment is required to be sent in advance.

    Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure:

    In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

    60 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost. 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost. 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost. 14 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost. 07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.

    Rights to amend the itinerary if required:

    Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalised. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.
