Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive from Manali to Barsheni, then trek to Khir Ganga (approx. 5-6 hours trek).

  The journey begins with a long drive to the beautiful Parvati Valley, passing through Bhuntar and Manikaran (famous for its hot springs). From the road-head at Barsheni, a steady, popular ascent through lush forests leads to Khir Ganga, where you can relax your muscles in the natural hot spring before camping for the night.

• Day 2 : Trek from Khir Ganga to Tunda Bhuj (approx. 5-6 hours).

  Leaving the popular campsite behind, the trail ascends gradually through dense birch and pine forests. The valley begins to widen, and the landscape transforms into charming alpine meadows dotted with wildflowers (in summer). Tunda Bhuj is a picturesque campsite providing open views of the surrounding peaks and the roaring Parvati River.

  Today is a relatively shorter day, primarily following the river valley as it narrows, allowing for gradual acclimatization. Thakur Kuan is a vast pastureland campsite situated right next to the Parvati River, offering a true sense of high Himalayan wilderness.

  The trek continues along the river, crossing the famous Pandu Pul—a massive natural rock bridge spanning the Parvati River. This campsite provides impressive views of the Kullu Eiger and is often a spot for Bakarwal shepherds' encampments.
