Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin

  Up on your arrival at Cochin airport / railway station, our Guest relation executive will welcome you and he will introduce your driver for the tour. Later, you will be transferred to the hotel. Based on your arrival timings, you can plan your sightseeing on this day. The attractions of Fort Kochi are Jewish synagogue, the oldest one in India located in Jew town. It is also known as Paradesi synagogue (closed on Friday afternoon, Saturday & Jewish holidays). The next attraction is Dutch palace (or Mattancherry palace) which portrays a Portuguese style architecture. It was used as a palace by the Kings who ruled Kochi. Next is the St Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica and the famous Chinese fishing nets. In the evening, you can opt for witnessing the famous Kathakali dance show at a theater in Cochin. Overnight stay in Cochin.

• Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar

  This morning, after breakfast, start your drive towards an enthralling hill station - Munnar. It’s a nature lover’s paradise which is located above the sea level of 1660m. It is a summer resort located among the tea plantations, winding lanes, green grass, flora and fauna. The hills, lakes, valleys and the forests make this place a perfect summer spot. It is located at the convergence of three mountain streams. The climate in Munnar is so pleasant that it has visitors throughout the year. En-route, you can witness the beautiful water falls - Valera & Cheeyappara waterfalls. On reaching Munnar check in to the hotel and relax by taking a nature walk in the hill station. Overnight stay in Munnar.

• Day 3 : Munnar Sightseeing

  Explore Munnar sightseeing on this day which includes Eravikulam National Park located on the Rajamala peak (Closed from February to Mid of April) - which covers forests of Western Ghats & it is the home for the rare goat species Nilgiri Tahr. Then you can visit the famous Tea Museum (Closed on Mondays) where you will find the tea processing & lush green plantation of tea. The other attractions are are Mattupetty Dam & Echo Point. If interested, you can also opt for Ayurveda massage on your own. Overnight in Munnar.

• Day 4 : Munnar - Alleppey (Houseboat)

  This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards the lovely backwaters of Kerala at Alleppey. Designated as the Venice of the East, Alleppey (Alappuzha) remains as the major center for backwater trips with a large network of lakes, lagoons and several freshwater river connections. A ride in one of these glassy lagoons will take you to a little paradise. On reaching Alleppey, embark your houseboat in Alleppey at around 12 Noon. Enjoy the cruise through the backwaters, canals where on both sides of the lake, you get to know the local life in a village. You can taste the yummy Kerala cuisine served in the houseboat and relax during the cruise. After lunch continue the cruise and during the journey you can see ancient temples, churches, paddy fields and can watch the day to day activities of the local people who live nearby. Evening you will get tea /coffee with snacks and around 5PM, the houseboat will be anchored a safe village area where you could walk around. There is no cruise during the night time. Have dinner and Overnight at the Houseboat in Alleppey. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

• Day 5 : Alleppey - Cochin Departure

  Today disembark from the houseboat at 9AM and drive towards Cochin. Later you will be transferred to the airport/railway station as per the schedule for your onward journey with sweet memories of the tour.
