Excursion to Phodong Monastery. 2-3 hrs from Gangtok. It's the oldest monastery of Sikkim. Phodong (Kargupa order) and Labrang (Niyingmapa Order). On the way one can visit Lepcha village also.

Transfer to Rumtek/Martam visit Rumtek Monastery. Rumtek, very popular all over the world. It is also known as Dharma Chakra Centre. Belongs to Kargupa Order. Over night at Martam Resort.

Transfer to Pemayangtse. Drive to West Sikkim, 5 hrs from the Gangtok. On the way one can visit, Tibetan Refugee camp at Rabongla, Bon Monastery, the only one in Sikkim.

Sightseeing the Monasteries of Pemayangtse and Tashiding. Visit Pemayangtse monastery, the third oldest monastery of Sikkim/ Rabdentse Ruins, the second place of the King of Sikkim. Sangachoeling Monastery, the second oldest monastery of Sikkim, Visit Kechopalri Lake (wishing Lake), and Tashiding monastery, it's a pilgrim place for the Buddhist people.

Pemayantse to Yuksom, the first capital of Sikkim. Visit Dubdi Monastery the first monastery built in Sikkim. And the Coronation Throne of the First Chogyal (King) of Sikkim. Walk around the Yuksom village.

After breakfast trekking for 5-6 hours in the beginning trekking steeply and after the view of some Himalayan peaks trekking down to camping area in dense forest of Oak. Overnight in tents.

After breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 6-7 hours gradually to Bhojwasa. This is base of Gaumukh glacier and last habitation on the way to Holy resource of Ganges. On the way there is chance to see some Himalayan fauna like Blue sheep in the Gangotri National Park. Overnight in tents.

After breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 4-5 hrs passing through the holy resource of Ganges and trail passes through the Gangotri glacier and last part is steeper after crossing the glacier and then we arrive to Tapovan meadow for breathtaking view of Shivling(6543), Meru(6660) peak, and facing to Bhagirathi Group(6800,6500,6400). Overnight stay in tents.

After breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 4-5 hrs crossing the Gangotri glacier and walking over the this glacier over the slippery ice and boulders. After crossing the glacier the trek is little steeper and upon arrival on the Nandanvan meadow the breathtaking view of Kharchkund (6700), Kedardome (6840), Kedarnath (6940), Bharatkantha (6200), Shivling (6543), Meru (6660) peak, and overhead to Bhagirathi Group(6800,6500,6400). Overnight stay in tents.

After Breakfast with packed lunch trekking for 6-7 hours passing through the glacier and crossing to crevasses in glacier and passing through the moraines along the Gangotri glacier. Overnight in tents at Cheervasa on the bank of Bhagirathi river, camping place is surrounded by high altitude blue pine and Birch forest. Overnight stay in tents.
