Arrive at Paro International Airport. After arrival, proceed to the immigration counter. Complete your immigration formalities and you will meet our representative outside the airport terminal. You will be transferred to Thimphu. The beating heart of Bhutan, Thimpu is capital city of one of the most beautiful destinations of the world. The city offers a perfect amalgamation of a small town with new industrial liveliness. The city has a stronghold intricate architecture, ancient Bhutanese art and awe inspiring culture. Situated on river banks of River Wang Chuu, the city is also an important centre of politics as it houses various political building such as the astounding Tashicho Dzong, a 350 year old monastery and present administrative centre. Arrive and check in the hotel. Enjoy a dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Thimpu.
Kuensel Phodrang, locally known as the Buddha Point, boasting the highest statue of Lord Buddha. 51.5 meter high statue is a three storied monument with numerous chapels. The body of this promising statue of Buddha is made up of 12500 smaller statues of Lord Buddha. The point offers a spectacular sight of city at the night.
Takin Reserve and Mini Zoo – mostly famous for Takin which is a rare species which is only found in Butan, China and Nepal. But it has been chosen as the national animal of the country as it has associated with culture and history of the country since ages.
Anim Dratshang (Nunnery) – established in the year 1976 by Rikey Jadrel, a most accomplished master in the Tibetan Buddhist world. He is also considered as the father of the Tibetan Opera and an architect for various iron bridges across the Himalayas.
Folk Heritage Museum – dating back to mid 19th century, this three storied edifice portrays a beautiful glimpse of ancient Bhutanese farmhouse with millstones, kitchen garden and hot stone bath.
Royal Textile Academy & Museum – established by Her Majesty the Queen Mother, Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck in 2001 brings to you a wide collection of beautiful Bhutanese textiles. It even houses the attires and crowns used by members of the royal family. You can learn the art of traditional weaving techniques and local style of dress.
Handicrafts markets – get enthralled by the huge collection of handicrafts which are easily available at bargained prices.
Tashichho Dzong – a famous landmark of the city is the main secretariat building which houses the office of Kings and the throne room. It is basically the summer residence of the monk body. Built in 1641 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal this massive fortress was renovated and rebuilt in its today form by the Third King of Bhutan Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. It even houses the beautiful rose garden. Enjoy a dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed to Dochula, has been intricately correlated with some of the significant occasion in Bhutanese history. It serves as the winter residence for the monk body. Being one of the most popular locations of Bhutan, Dochu La Pass offers tourist from across the globe a spectacular view of snow clad Himalayan Range of 360 degrees. The most inspiring site is during clear winter days. Located on the crest of Dochula Pass, there is a temple popularly known The Druk Wangyal Lhakhang which is built in the honor of his majesty, the fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck. In the evening return back to Thimpu. Enjoy a dinner at the hotel.
