Tawang - Kaziranga Tour Package 9Days - 8Nights

We will receive you at the Guwahati airport at the said time of your arrival and then we will take you to Nameri. Nameri is a national park famous for wildlife like tiger, leopard, bear etc. It is also said to be a birding paradise for birders from different parts of the world. Apart from the Himalayan birds, the tourist attractions in Nameri are the wildlife trekking inside the national park and the river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. Both of activities take around 6 to 7 hours to complete. You will stay at Bhalukpong for the night.

We will we head towards Dirang valley, after breakfast. It is a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. It is famous for birding (Himalayan birds), monasteries, Dirang - Dzong, old architectures, an old electricity mill, and the beautiful Tibetan villages. You will stay at Dirang for the night.

We will start towards Tawang in the morning. Just outside Dirang, on the way to Tawang there is a hot water spring. After checking out the hot water spring our next stop will be at Vaisakhi where you can enjoy some Dosas in the Dosa point. We will also stop by at certain beautiful places on the way, such as the Sela Pass (13700 feet), the Paradise Lake or the Sela Lake near the Sela Pass, and the War Memorial of Jaswantgarh. Afterwards, we will show you to Nuranang waterfalls which also falls on the way, and then finally reach Tawang. Then, we will head out to see the local places in Tawang. We will show you the places like the Tawang monastery (Asia's 2nd largest monastery), the Nun monastery, the Craft centre, the Emporium, Apple garden, the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace, and Tawang War Memorial. You can also enjoy the rope ways to Nun monastery. You will stay at Tawang.

This day, we will go out for the sightseeing of places around Tawang, which are not within the locality of Tawang. The places like the Heart Lake, the PTSO Lake, Nagula Lake, Y Junction, Sangester Lake and the Bum La Pass (border of India and China) are nearby Tawang and are scattered in different directions. So it will take a complete day to visit all these places. Also, please note that if you are planning to visit the India - China border, i.e. Bum La Pass then you must choose an itinerary with at least 3 days stay at Tawang as the pass for visiting Bum La Pass cannot be obtained in a same day. Your stay will be at the same place.

This day would be a local sightseeing day within Tawang. We will show you the places like the Tawang monastery (Asia's 2nd largest monastery), the Nun monastery, , the Craft centre, the Emporium, Apple garden, the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace, and Tawang War Memorial. You can also enjoy the rope ways to Nun monastery. You will stay at the same place.

After finishing all the local sightseeing in Tawang, we will start our journey back to Bomdila which falls on the way to Tawang from Nameri. Bomdila is a beautiful town in Himalayan foothill valleys. The places to see in Bomdila are Bomdila monastery, Bomdila market, Tipi orchid garden, which will be shown to you on the next day, and Bomdila view point. Your stay will be at Bomdila.

We take you to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park is a World Heritage site situated in the heart of Assam. Crowded by thousands and thousands of tourist every year, it is famous for the one horned rhinoceros found nowhere but in Kaziranga, and a number of wildlife species like the tiger (in its natural habitat), different species of deer, Himalayan bison, migratory birds etc. On the way to Kaziranga National Park, we will stop at the Cultural city of Assam, Tezpur. Famous for many historic places, Tezpur is a beautiful city. After sightseeing of places like the Agnigarh, the Lord Shiva temples, the Ghats of Brahmaputra, and the gardens, we will continue towards Kaziranga. Your stay will be at Kaziranga.

Activities : Jungle Safari

Early in the morning, we will take out for the Elephant safari of Kaziranga National Park. Riding on the back of elephants, you will get see the wildlife from very close distance. In the afternoon, we will take you for the Jeep safari of the national park. In the meantime, we will show you the local places around kaziranga like the orchid gardens, the teagardens, the ethnic village etc. the stay for the night will be at the same place.

Activities : Jungle Safari , Elephant Safari

In the morning after breakfast, we will take you to Guwahati to drop you off at the Airport. If there is plenty of time in between after reaching Guwahati and your flight departure, then we can take you for the local sightseeing of the city. Places like the Kamakhya temple, or the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra visited within that time. At the required time we will drop you off at the airport.
