Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Gangtok (124 kms / 4-5 hrs)

Arrive Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station and transfer by road to Gangtok. Upon arrival in Gangtok transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2

Gangtok

Rumtek Monastery Hanuman Tok Ganesh Tok

This morning proceed to Tashi View Point which offers a spectacular view of the mountains, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. Later proceed on a sightseeing tour of Gangtok - visit Do Drul Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Institute of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Enchay Monastery, Flower Monastery and Rumtek Monastery, which is the largest in Sikkim and is the main seat of the Karma Kagyu lineage. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3

Gangtok

This morning you will proceed for an excursion to Baba Mandir and the sacred Tsomgo lake, situated at an altitude of 3,780 meters and offers a splendid view of the high Himalayas in the not too distant horizon. Rest of the day at leisure, Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4

Gangtok - Lachung (117Kms/5 – 6 Hrs)

Phodong Monastery

Today you will drive to Lachung (small pass) situated at an altitude of 8800 feet. Enroute to Lachung you will stop to visit the Phodong Monastery. Evening at leisure to explore the beautiful Himalayan village on your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5

Lachung

Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary

This morning visit to Yumthang Valley, also known as valley of flowers situated at an altitude of 12,000 feet, enroute you will visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Later visit Lachung Monastery. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Lachung - Gangtok

In the morning drive back to Gangtok . Proceed to your hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Depart Gangtok
