Chakrata is a cantonment town and also a sub district/tehsil, in Dehradun district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The best time to visit Chakrata is between April and June, and from September to November. Deoban area boasts thick deodar cover and uninterrupted views of the Himalayan ranges. Chakrata is Tiger Falls.
