Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Bangalore / Wayanad ( 290 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Depart from Bangalore at 06.00hrs to Wayanad enroute visit Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary for safari & elephant ride, Eddakal caves The caves can be approached by 1km trekking trail starting from Edakkal. On arrival check in at a resort free to relax or go for nature walk. Evening dinner and overnight stay in resort.

Day 2

Wayanad

Pookot Lake

Morning after breakfast visit Chembra peak at Lakkidi- the gateway to Wayanad, situated 700m above sea level at the crest of the Thamarasseri Ghat pass. Boating at the pookot lake, kanthanpura water falls, Soochipura water water falls, Banasura dam with lake, Nellimala view point, koottamundu Glass temple, Chain Tree Lofty peaks, Ambalavayal heritage museum (near Ambukuthi hill) which houses artifacts and belongings of the various tribes, reputed to be one of the best heritage museums in Kerala. Return to resort, dinner and overnight.

Wayanad / Bangalore

Morning breakfast, checkout at 10.00Hrs and proceed to Bangalore enroute visit srirangapattana with bird sanctuary.
