Upon arrival , you will be welcomed by one of our experienced guides. After a brief orientation, your safari adventure begins. Enjoy a full dayS of games driving in Serengeti National Park, exploring different areas of this world-famous ecosystem. The day offers excellent opportunities to witness predators such as lions and cheetahs, as well as large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Picnic lunch will be served in the park before continuing with afternoon game viewing.
Please note that witnessing a river crossing is not guaranteed. However, the Northern Serengeti offers a rich tapestry of wildlife and landscapes, ensuring that your safari remains memorable regardless of the river's outcome.
Intimate Camp Zebra will be your base in the central Serengeti. This excellent tented camp has a dining and lounge tent, and you'll sleep in large safari tents that look out across the savannah grasslands and acacia trees. If you're lucky, an elephant might pass by right next to your tent, or you'll hear a lion roar while you're lying in bed at night.

After your time in the Northern Serengeti, we will journey south to the Central Serengeti, also known as the Seronera Valley. This region is renowned for its year round wildlife sightings, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The Seronera River ensures a consistent water supply, attracting a diverse array of animals. The landscape features open grasslands, acacia forests, and kopjes (rocky outcrops), providing excellent opportunities for game drives.

In the Central Serengeti, you can expect to observe:
Predator Activity: Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequently spotted, especially around the kopjes where they rest and hunt Resident Wildlife: The area supports a stable population of herbivores, including gazelles, zebras, and giraffes, which in turn sustain the predator population.

Birdwatching: The diverse habitats attract numerous bird species, making it a haven for bird enthusiasts.

Scenic Landscapes: The combination of riverine areas, open plains, and rocky outcrops offers breathtaking views and unique photographic opportunities.

After an early breakfast, you'll journey south to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most remarkable geological formations. This massive volcanic caldera ago The crater's floor encompasses diverse ecosystems, including grasslands, swamps, and woodlands, supporting a rich array of wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater is home to a dense population of lions, elephants, black rhinoceroses, buffalo, and zebras. Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake within the crater, is renowned for its flocks of flamingos. The area also supports over 500 bird species and serves as a critical habitat for endangered species such as the black rhino .
Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge is your base along the road between Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. It's down a quiet road so you should have a good night's sleep to go with the fabulous views out over the countryside. The amenities include a restaurant, bar and swimming pool. The rooms are excellent, with plenty of character and some have views.
