Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Paro – Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, meet out guide and driver and then transfer you to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Enroute to Tachogang temple. Check into hotel. Later visit to Giant Buddha and Memorial Stupa. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast, visit to Changangkha Temple, Takin Zoo, Nunnery, National Library and Painting School. After lunch visit to Post Office, Jungshi handmade paper factory and Weekend Market(Opne on Friday - Sunday) Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 Thimphu – Punakha

After breakfast, drive to Punakha Valley. Enroute to Dochu La Pass, weather permitting one can able to witness panoramic view of Himalayan range. Later descend down towards Lobesa village and after lunch visit to Chimi Lhakhang temple, dedicated to saint Drukpa Kuenley and then followed by a visit to Punkha Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Punakha – Gangtey

Morning after breakfast, we then drive to Phobjikha valley crossing Wangdiphodrang town. Later enjoy a nature hike which takes about 30-45 minutes and then visit to Gangtey Goenpa(Monastery) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5 Gangtey – Paro

Today we will start early to Paro, crossing Dochu La Pass. Stop for a hot lunch at Thimphu. After lunch continue drive to Paro. Later visit to Ta Dzong(Musuem), Rinpung Dzong(fortress) and Kichu temple. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
